- In this video I will show you how to replace a passenger front parking light on a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. The same procedure applies for 2011-2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
The only tools you would need for this job is a flat blade screw driver and maybe a pair of pliers to loosen the parking light socket.
The bulb I used in the video was a Sylvania 2827

If you have any questions about this repair just leave a comment and I will try to help you as best as I can. Thanks for watching
You're like the only person online with a video on how to replace these pesky light bulbs. Mitsubishi didn't make it easy.
Im really happy to have find this video....i was crazy trying to take off last week.....i couldn't...but now i feel.like i will can. 😅
Thank you. I watched until the end. I feel more confident with the replacement of the both parking lights with my huge hands 😎. GOD bless ❤
Good video thank you ❤
Made that look easy! Thanks man
I need to replace the exact bulb on the exact same side on the exact same make, model, and year vehicle. And this was the first video I found. Unbelievable. 😊
sam, same and same…. I didnt know what that light was called
Nice video fella, my UK ASX was the same side, (drivers here!) and really tight, so I cut a metal tube with a slot to miss the wiring and give me great torque undo the holder, plus good for replacement. Full marks for awkwardness Mitsubishi but I've done worse. Cheers from the UK.
Thank you was helpful
Only problem is when I was screwing it back in bulb fell in front plastic cover
What do I do now???
Please help :)
I would always check the light. Make sure it’s on before I put that back together to❤
Savannah is in Georgia I think u meant Sylvania. Lol. Cool video. Very helpful. Dummies at Autozone tried to give me the wrong bulb. Your bulb number was spot on and the instructions were clear. Thanks!
Interesting video, do you have one showing how to replace the ballast of the headlight on this same exact model? I've been trying to search online for weeks now and can't find anything. I need to replace the ballast because I tried installing a new (working) bulb and still doesn't turn on "sometimes" (most of the time). I need to access the ballast which is screwed to the bottom of the headlight box.
Hey thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I do not have a video on my channel about removing the head light ballast, But I do know how to replace it. You will have to remove the headlight assembly in order it gain access to the ballast and the front bumper cover would also have to be removed to get the head light assembly out. Hope this helps.
@@jamescasmire That’s perfect! Is it hard to do so?
It shouldn’t be to hard, the hardest part is getting the front bumper off, after that it should be easy.
Thank for sharing this because I have same issue when I replaced it . Did not remove the plastic trim and I have hard time removing it.
Hey thanks for the comment, I removed the plastic trim because it gives you a little more room to get your hand back behind the headlight assembly and it makes the job easier.
Almost broke my thumb trying to get the driver side back in …. But thank you ,I couldn’t even find how to get them out!
What does it mean when the light starts flashing after you have replaced them with new bulbs ?
They are not supposed to flash, did you use the correct bulbs?

I managed to get the bulb out on the driver side of my 2014 model and replace it, but I can't seem to twist it back in. It's placed pretty high up under the hood. Any suggestions?
You can try putting soapy water on the rubber gasket and that should lubricant it to were it is easier to twist the socket into the headlight assembly
@@jamescasmire I’ll give that a try. It’s a really tight squeeze for my hand because of the placement. Thanks! I appreciate the quick response!
Your welcome good luck
You sir are a genius. Thank you so much for this. You Tube University for the win.
