Great decision guys. Get the parts car, switch out the engine, and hopefully sell the remaining parts to make some of your money back. This should make some great content for the channel. I can't wait to see it all.

I agree re safety issues. I’m always amazed at the complacent attitude some of these talented people have. All my career I have been drilled safety begins with yourself. Please Vlad wear some safety shoes 😃 maybe do a paid sponsorship with a footwear company 😀

Vlad is rebuilding the Corvette as a personal project. The Black corvette is being repaired under insurance and will have brand new oem parts fitted. The old parts from the black one will be used to rebuild Vlad’s or else thrown away. Hope I make sense 😂
Dude you're fixing Corvettes. And the dude that bought a Z06; should know. A Z06 has a 5.5 liter V8. The Stingray has a 6.2 liter. Also a Z06 is not that much faster than a C8 Stingray. That flat plane crank must make you think you're going faster than you are.
I rebuild a lot of corvettes and sadly your parts car headlights are not going to be correct for your car. Yours seemed to have the front lift and the parts car does not. The headlights will be different. Not saying you cant make them work though just wont be right. All the other parts should be fine.
Good catch! Yes, the donor car didn’t have a front lift system. The headlights are functional but display an error message on the dashboard. Is there a way to deprogram the headlight error message, or will I need to purchase new headlights?
9:46 why can’t ya go to upullit or pickNpull? I’ve seen better front end on c8 than what ya paid online. What’s your shop trying to prove no cut corners? Your a body shop.

The c8 z06 is a 5.5 flat plane crank v8. Completely different than your c8. That’s why it doesn’t sound American.
