I've always loved SAO ever since I learned it existed in the first season of the anime. But yeah, there is a lot of hate for it, but there is also a massive amount of love for it, especially in Japan.
I know SAO has it's issues, but I loved it back when I watched it for the first time in sixth grade. The nostalgia hits hard. But regardless of any flaws, the music friggin slaps. And this arrangement is A+

I love the song Sword Art Online taught me so much (friendship, teamwork, sadness but most importantly never give up no matter what we can do this together)
I'm speechless she is literally playing the entire soundtrack from memory no sheet music that is astounding not to mention the cosplay is fabulous 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not saying that this isn't awesome because it is and its one of my favourite medleys of the SAO Soundtrack. But playing something without sheets isn't that special. Especially if the piece gets faster and more complicated you wouldn't even have time to read the sheet at the same time. Also to play something as well as she does in the video you will need a LOT of practice. Like hours upon hours. And after all that time the piece is basically muscle memory because you played it so often. Again not trying to downplay how great this performance is, just wanted to explain a common misconception I often see on piano videos, that playing without sheets is astonishing. Its much less astonishing than the actual performance, especially when its this clean :)
@@xXBenutzer235Xx that's definitely true, but I think it's worth taking into account that she played 13 songs back to back. the finicky thing with muscle memory is that sometimes when you mess up, it's hard to get back on track. : p
@@hazakura2319 that might be true! Personally I don't think I can even remember the melodies to any of the songs in their entirety, so 13 minutes is pretty crazy to me lol
Seeing Ru's Piano makes me wanna focus on playing the piano. The piano is not an instrument for a weak-willed like me to play. I need solid inspiration to keep moving. Ru might be it! People may dislike the anime but it's unquestionable how far it's popularity spans. You may hate how the show is written but hating the voice actors, singers, studios, fans is unacceptable. They enjoy the show for what it is, but hating he show because 'it is expected' or 'that what the internet does' is ludicrous. The show's take on the friendship, relationship, overcoming trauma and difficulties resonate deeply in me. Whenever I feel dejected, it is always heartwarming to see Asuna and Kirito's never dying loyalty and love to one another. Definitely not jealous. The happiness we feel when they succeed, the sadness when they fail are inexplicable as we watched them grow and overcome numerous challenges. Spoilers but The memories of Yuuki, Eugeo and many others, reminds us on how we should never take anything for granted, be it life or relationships, we just need to make the most of it. Thanks for being one of the first shows to get me into anime and congrats on 1.9 mil!
