As far as the flight anxiety video, it was a special video you created out of thought and concern for those who have that issue. As you can see, it's a minority of flyers, but KUDOS TO YOU for caring enough to create it. It wasn't created to be a huge popular success type video, you created it to be helpful and I'm sure those who watched it and needed that, appreciated it! Sometimes it's okay to do something special for certain people, even if it's not the 'popular' thing to do.

Haha, my parents and teachers sooo stressed trying to get inside when you hear thunder, even in the distance (lightning can apparent strike like 5 miles away from the thunder cell or something). Maybe it's a little extra cautious given the odds, but I haven't been struck by lightning yet! 🤞 Lol

My trip to Seoul happened to be the same week as BTS's 10th anniversary festa, so I watched the fireworks too! Ironically, I watched most of it from the livestream because it started while I was still eating dinner at a restaurant, but I caught the last 10 minutes (irl) and the finale was insane! I'm sure the entirety of Seoul could hear the fireworks.
The finale was nuts hahah I usually see the fireworks at yeouido from afar so being close to them was an experience 😂😂

my summer in 🇰🇷 was amazing,though hot 😅 i spent the 13th of June by the Han and just had a chill day celebrating BTS 10th,went to some cafes you recommended,and the finally saw the fireworks on the 17th 💜
also i went to Gyeongju,and its now one of my favorite place in! the people are so nice and the scenery is so beautiful,we stayed at a traditional Hanok house too 😊 thanks to your vlogs,i managed to explore places outside of Seoul,like Daegu,Busan and Gangwon too!

Being born in a Greek village and currently living in one taught me to always look out for rain, no matter the season. The moment I heard that thunder I knew what was about to happen, that lady running to avoid the storm is so me, I can't even lol. As a country Greece is very unpredictable with weather, especially near the mountains. It is kinda funny to see how similar Korea can be, even in the summertime.

It feels hotter during the late afternoon because of all the concretes and asphalt. The sun heats up those and now you are feeling the heat from both sun and ground. Consequently, it does not cool down until late at night since ground retains the heat longer.

It is way too hot in Spain this days (more than 40 degrees) and watching you at the forest and doing a picnic in a beautiful park is so refreshing. The fireworks were amazing and it so funny thinking that there were people all over the world watching it at the same time, you were so lucky to see them in person 😍
Please dont worry about the flight anxiety video, because even if it helps, it gives some anxiety too but it helps soo much.

Don't think i've ever commented on one of your videos before I just wanted to say that I really love these vlogs! I love seeing parts of Seoul and Korea that I hope to visit when I come later in the year. I think one of the main reasons i love your vlogs is because I live alone in a town where I have no friends/family/colleagues so when i do convince myself to leave my flat, I experience everything alone, which, depending on my mood/mental health, can be joyous and satisfying, or leave me crippled with anxiety and feeling lonely. To see you mostly enjoy all these experiences on your own really fills me with confidence to get out and enjoy things on my own too! Usually I watch one of your vlogs and then I get my shoes on and go out on a little adventure! So thank you. Your content is a nice little escape from my normal life, but also encourages me to actually experience things in my own life, and really, I think that's the best type of content out there.🥰 Love this channel, thank you Cari!

Cari, meteorologists here in Canada have a saying. When thunder roars, stay indoors. Anytime there is thunder in your area, a lightning strike or even tornadoes are possible. Sitting in an open field beside a body of water is the absolute worst place to be at that moment. Take shelter immediately, like Running Lady. I’m always amazed that Seoul seems to have very similar seasons to what we have here, near Toronto. Although Spring is a three day weekend in recent years.

I moved from the west coast to the east coast. Be of the humidity on the east coast we ragout true blue skies. I missed blue skies so much. Every time I travels home I would be so happy in the dry heat because I could see the familiar and comforting blue. It’s real to feel a bit off from not seeing that blue you are used to seeing almost every day.

I’m so glad someone else mentioned the semi-equivalent to SAD for summer! I was that way in the past, in university days. I think the constant thunderstorms, overwhelming heat and humidity, and the mostly deserted campus was too much. There are less activities during university semesters during the summer also and the work is faster paced. It’s all just a downer. I have adjusted to the heat and it isn’t quite as depressing. I also have a better sense for what rejuvenates me mentally/physically now then I used to be. Hang in there. Now I appreciate the rain and thunderstorms, although they seem more severe these days (maybe I know the risks more versus the actual severity 😮). Glad you are able to branch out to some physical books too. That’s fun!

thank you for your transparency about the struggles of youtube 💙 in my limited experience with my small channel, it's already been wild to discover that unpleasant phenomenon of "i understood rationally that this video wouldn't do as well as the others, but now that it's happening i can see that there's no way to predict how that will hit emotionally..." i can only imagine how those highs and lows might be amplified for full time creators with a sizable audience, so it's really generous of you to share that point of view. and i really loved the flight anxiety video, all the info from pilot dad was particularly helpful!

the "picnic scene" was so real and so cozy, I enjoyed it the most hehe
The cooling off thing is actually a city thing. On the country side, noon is the warmest period and then it will cool off. However, as cities take in a lot more heat and then release it during the rest of the day. That's because the materials dominating the city scape (asphalt, concret, stone...) store heat really well and gradually release it (which may turn cities into living hells as well). Waterbodies and plants on the other hand barely store heat, so the tempreature is much more in line with the position of the sun.
I really enjoyed this video! It was very relaxing. Also, I appreciated your airplane anxiety video and I think a lot of people will get a lot of useful tips from that video.

The music thing has actually been studied would you believe. The music we listen to during our teenage years and early 20s will always be the most memorable to us, as our brains go through a lot of changes during that time. We form much stronger associative memories and emotional reactions to that music! This is why adults always think that the music from their youth is "better" than the music we get nowadays ;)
I looked into this while researching music as therapy for dementia patients, and if you ever want a good cry I recommend looking it up - there is one in particular that won an award at the Sun Dance film festival I believe? It's on youtube anyhow.
