I remember reading a tweet about the vehicle obstructing the Hyperlapse. It is too bad it didn't work out. I wonder how much a punt weighs. Jake and his friends seemed to manage the portage well. I once went on a 50 mile canoe trek once and we had a number of portages. The canoes obviously weighed less than a punt, but some portages were over a mile. That gave me a special appreciation for portages. I've enjoyed the wonderful views along the river Cam. I'm glad Jake survived his brush with the stubborn swan. I will miss seeing bits of Cambridge Formals, though I am looking forward to seeing Jake's new London life.
I'm sitting here in Saudi Arabia and enjoying Jake's vlogs so much...i was in Cambridge last week and kept looking for all the places where he had filmed.
Honestly, the way Jake talks about doing a moving camera time lapse, then follows it up with a *stationary* time lapse of Jake moving his camera around, actually works as a funny subversion of expectations.
Was that music when you were moving the boat intentionally meant to be like that in 'the social network'?...i think they did the same thing in that boat race in the Cambridge scene. I liked it anyway, nice vid.
I'm an 18 year old guy from England in my last year of school before University next year... with a lot of free time on my hands. So I decided to make a daily vlog! I'd really love to hear any feedback from people that either watch a lot of vlogs or make a lot of vlogs (Or anyone who just feels interested!) as I'm relatively new in this scene:) I purchased a new camera and editing software - I'm determined to keep the daily vlogs going as I've been receiving tremendous support / feedback which I love!
Could anyone please tell me the name of and/or where and how I could find the instrumental piano music that played later on in the video? The first song played from 4:15 to 5:43, and the second song from 5:44 to 6:50. Would really appreciate it!
I wish you would post the whole of the Cam video. Just mute it or with some soft music. Are you allowed to post very long videos ? It would be so nice to go on a virtual trip along the Cam.
Thanks, Jake for sharing your peace with us along the river. Great stuff.
