I picked up an IQZoom 115-S a few weeks ago, which is basically the same camera here but with a longer zoom best I can tell. It's really quite good. I got better exposures with it than I do with my T4 on B&W film. I also prefer that the lens tends to vignette a bit "too much" at times. Sharpness is pretty standard point and shoot. My T4 is no better. Neither is my mju.
I did notice some vignette too but like you does not bother me and sometimes like it on the types of shots I take with it. Started shopping for more and The IQ Zooms look nice. Lot of different focal lengths and models made.
I have not but now that you say that I bet that is what it is. Have had the camera for quite a while but never gave a real try except once on the 1v. I will give a look, thanks!
I found my moms old point and shoot Olympus Stylus in her garage storage. Put a battery in and wow such a fun little camera. The lens is very sharp and the meter is very accurate. Drives me nuts I have to turn off the flash every time I turn the camera on and sometime it will miss focus but rarely. Small sharp and just fun street shooter.
My canon 1v is presenting an issue, even with full batteries it shows a low battery icon on the lcd display when I press the shutter. Does anyone have an idea of how can I fix this? all the shops in my city said they are unable to help..
@@ccoppola82 nice 👍 I paid 600 or so around the same time with battery grip (though I do not use it often - it eats film 😃) 300 is a great deal. Looks like have gone up a bit recently (like every thing else)
TH-cam compression doesn’t help… The Pentax definitely misses more shots and is slower, but that is sort of a given. Softer overall and especially at the edges… But pretty darn solid really!
@@Distphoto very excited to see how it works. Didnt get it in time to do some indy 500 sports photography unfortunately but it should be super fun to use when i get the time!

I was sorta in the same boat with the canon. But I’m just a hobbyist in photography so I bought the eos-3.
That is also a great camera! I have one as well and find it on par with the 1V. The eye autofocus is interesting too!
The date back usually has a separate battery. Have you checked if yours is in good shape?

I am surprised how much I enjoy that thing. The Olympus sounds nice, great that you can switch the flash off too 👍

PS: I press the shutter but nothing happens, just the battery thing.
@@pedrokozla Sorry to hear that. Steve at Camera clinic repaired mine and has always done a great job. You can reach out to him and see if he can help
I had the same issue on my EOS1N. I used alcohol and Qtips to clean all the battery contacts. Works perfectly now.
The 1V will never win a beauty contest, but it is hands down the one camera I will never sell, and is probably my favourite 35mm camera.
I've thought about selling mine a few times but then I slap that foolish idea out of my head 😂
Bello trabajo, lamentablemente no me puedo dar el lujo de disparar en rollo. Tengo una Minolta y lentes, pero es demasiado caro.
Sorry to hear that. There are some pretty cheap really good black and white films out there 🤷🏻♂️
Some images with the pentax are very close!! wow
Yeah, I was impressed. If it hit focus especially in the center the camera does well. Does miss focus more often but that is prob a given.
I personally feel that the Pentax looked better in a few and comparable in the rest !
It really did quite well!
Who i can sell a Canon 1V for 2k American money?...
With that lens in good shape prob quite a few.
I grabbed a mint 1v for $300 like 5 years ago. Glad I got it. Great camera for when I really need to get it done

I honestly don’t see much difference. You just made the price of that P&S skyrocket 🤣👍🏾

@@Distphoto Yeah the difference is hard to see with the TH-cam compression
2100?!?! I got a 1v on marketplace for 450 bucks like 3 weeks ago…
Well that is a very good deal. Did it come with a 1200 lens?
@@Distphoto it did not 😆
@@mynameisnotcory that is an awesome price… enjoy the camera 👍

Hydrogen bomb vs Coughing baby
One way to put it 😂
