- Hi Everyone and welcome back to Formula Drift New Jersey, definitely the most dramatic weekend for the entire team but we enjoyed great results considering some things we were working on in the background. Hope you all enjoy!

Thats awesome how accommodating RTR has been for you just to make sure that you'll be comfortable in the car and it definitely seems like its working. When you become 100% comfortable in the car everyone better watch out. James the MACHINE Dean is a great addition to the RTR team and I will go ahead and say that the next round of Formula Drift is going to be a win. #UNLEASHTHEMACHINE

@@jadelavens7983 yeah, it wasnt the perfect line the judges want but it had more x factor than any run all weekend. as a fan watching i rank that higher than someone running less angle on the "perfect" line.

Why cant you just guys agree that if deane didnt sleep and stayed with him, even if adams flick was sick, since its out 2 wheels, judges would have given the win to dean for that mistake of adam. You guys cant accept that dropping 2 wheels is not a good thing, specialy for the lead driver because that means youre not in the right zones and can mess up the chase driver

From a fan's standpoint that was a super wild event and the track definitely wasn't as easy to link as it looked. Hoping you can bring the next one home so that the RTR family has 4 wins for 4 drivers. Question for you, what does the little red button on the shifter do?

they are getting insane with those cones. these cars are so wide it looks like you have to hurt the engine lugging it just to get around them before you can go. :

Shut up. If he was closer the judges would have given adam an unchasable run because yes awesome backie but it was off the line 2 wheels deep. They could have easily said that threw deane off. Adam got lucky 1000%

@@angelwalker. 2nd comment ive seen you in salty about the entry. James was going off regardless of adam dropping 2 tires. In the video he literally admits that HE screwed it up. Only way adam is beating James straight up is by full sending it, James lost his focus for a second at the start, overcompensated for it trying to catch up on the entry, and washed out. Even arguably the best in the world mess up, happens. Downplaying someone else because of someone's mistake is lame.

I think Robbie Nishida is right about the 3 strike rule for false starts/cone hits off the line (he talked about it during one of the FDJ events this year), should be changed. I think Adam was purposely faulting starts etc to play mind games.
Don't get me wrong Adam is talented, and I understand getting into you opponents head etc, but I dont wanna watch someone false start every battle trying to play mind games to gain an advantage.
Idk if that was necessarily some tactic by LZ…. Those RTR cars are insanely big. They take the already wide Mustang, add massive over-fenders, and then 15° of front camber.
Freaking things are like 10ft wide out front lol.
Ignoring the fact that the whole 3strike/cone shit is clowny and could be significantly improved, immediately thinking this is how Adam operates when competing, rather than just chalking it up to nerves is also pretty clowny. It's been a long time since he's even been in the top8 in FD, much less top 4 facing arguably the best drifter on the planet in basically the same car as him. Lets hold back on the negative speculations.

adam didn't lose speed or force james to crash, he just dropped both back wheels off which happens all the time. if james stayed on track he would have gotten the win for adams mistake.

Idk how LZ got the win when he blinded James while trying to do a big entry and messing it up. Like James got shook cuz I think he though LZ was gonna spin out that's why he did that at the first corner. Man the judges never tend to stop doing their worst.
Lz was still on track. James was 3 wheels of the track so judges gave him incomplete, I guess.

James said in the video that he was asleep at the start... if he hadn't let LZ get so far out ahead of him, he wouldn't have gotten lost in the smoke. It sucks it went down like that, but there's no need to try to tear down LZ's win.
