We start by visiting the Flower Dome, which has rotating special exhibits. We're lucky enough to visit on the very final day of the 2022 Sakura display. Although some of the flowers are past their peak, the cherry blossoms that are blooming are stunning!
Next we visit the Cloud Forest, which is the one recommended by the internet if you only have time or money to visit one dome. The waterfall is spectacular (and extremely loud)! We're also there for one of the misting sessions that keeps the plants and atmosphere beautiful. Apparently you can take wedding pictures here (what a setting!).
The Floral Fantasy is our next stop, and I'm not sure what we were expecting after the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, but this exceeded our expectations. It's very fantasy driven, with a whimsical atmosphere. There are a number of Instagram-ready displays to take photos with, complete with boxes on the ground for where to pose (for those of us who don't do that regularly, lol).
Lastly, we go to the top of the tallest SuperTree in the SuperTree Grove! The view from here is STUNNING. You truly have 360 degrees of Singapore surrounding you, and sunset was the absolutely perfect time to visit. HIghly recommended to visit at this time of day! Plus after taking in the sunset, you can stop down on the street level for the SuperTree Light Show - which was complete with a number of well known Broadway show songs. People sang along - it was amazing!

I always enjoy a trip to the Garden by the Bay during our Singapore trips. An it's a huge change from my first trip to Singapore when we stayed at anchor where the Garden by the Bay is now. And when going ashore we had to take a taxi boat to the Clifford Pier that's now far inside the country.
Oh wow, I'm sure it's changed a *lot*! How fun to see the changes over the years!

Visit those tourist attractions without entry fee is a smart move in Singapore, making this far away tour of an expensive city state an affordable one is in no way a compromised for a memorable trip. Garden by the bay is like an artificial forest in a modern city for us.😉

Wow I feel like I am in another world don't even need to leave my computer chair as I have travelled all over the world tonight and got to see sights through your videos that toke my breath away it literally brought to tears how beautiful this world can be if mankind works together in saving the world and making it green and truly a heaven on earth. One thing people neglect to mention , Singapore is very wheelchair friendly even with public transport.It is an absolute joy to be able the vacation days with my elderly parents.

The waterfall at the entrance provides a really suprising feeling to anyone who first enter the cloud forest - probably wowed by the sensation and sight. I don't think you can experience this even if you visited a real cloud forest.
Cloud forest exist in a few countries and the biodiversity in such terrain is huge. However, just like the ongoing shrinking mountain glacier around the world, cloud forest around the world is threatened by an increasingly warmer world. As the atmosphere becomes increasingly warmer, the climate in these cloud forest are affected, example from decreasing clouds and thus rainfall. Another major threat to these precious terrain is due to deforestation.
Yes, the waterfall definitely adds a wow factor as you enter Cloud Forest! We need to watch over our beautiful natural resources. 😊

Thank you!! Have you watched our most recent video? We went to Artichoke Restaurant. It's not in the immediate Gardens area, but it's not far! The food was delicious. You don't need to dress up a lot for it, which suited our travel clothes, but might not be dressy enough for a special occasion. 😊

@@TalesFromOurPocket Oh! We didn’t book any advanced reservations. About 2 years ago, the Singapore government gave all citizens a $100 tourism voucher, and I used it to buy tickets to the domes for everyone, including my wedding photographer. We spent an entire afternoon there; highly recommended. Our initial plans were to have it taken at Jewel Changi Airport, but they required us to fill up a 2-page form, plus most of the area was cordoned off for Christmas decorations.
All you had to do was buy normal tickets?! Wow! I would have done my photos there, too. Such a beautiful setting!

Awesome Videos !!! Question: How long did you spend at all the gardens? A day ? Half Day? or just a couple few hours? I wanted to visit all the gardens and domes when i visit Singapore next month
Thank you! We spend about 2/3 the day there, but it does take us longer to see things because we video them. 😊 I would allocate 60-90 minutes for each dome, but I think they don't open until 10. Plus you need to eat! Floral Fantasy was the fastest to go through; the other two took longer. Don't forget the light show at night, either! Enjoy your time there!
There's another free light show called spectra light show or something, somewhere near the floating LV store. 8 or 9pm i think

U should go to komodo island if you want the real landscape of jurrasic park and also komodo dragon at labuan bajo flores with one hour airplane to labuan bajo airport, travelling Indonesia is like around the world you haven't seen it before, many things magical unknown place and beautiful in Indonesia. I have seen many youtuber around the world now travelling around Indonesia, one of them from america check their youtube the lost boy. Anyway I love your vlog, you guys have great story telling when you are vlogging and people can recognize the information. 😁

Great Video - just curious how long does it really take to cover all the domes ? is it a day long activity or half day ?
For us, it was a whole day - but filming slows us down! I would allow 1 to 1.5. hours per dome - so maybe 2/3 a day. They don't open until mid morning, so mid morning to late afternoon is what I'd allow (including a break for lunch).

Hi, how long do you spend your time in there, and on what time do you suggest to go there (to visit all of it) until the light show on the evening? I’m planning to go there with my family, but we only got 1 full day to enjoy singapore. So please advice if we better to pick just 1-2 gardens and spend the remaining time elsewhere (orchard rd, vivo, art science centre is on my list). Thanx
Visiting all of it is amazing because it's so uniquely Singapore, but if I had just one day, here's how I'd spend it:
Eat a hearty breakfast and be at one of the domes when it opens (9am currently).
Go to 2 of the 3 domes (recommend Cloud Forest and Flower Dome).
Head to Lau Pa Say hawker center for a slightly late lunch.
After lunch, visit Thian Hock Keng Temple, and/or Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (both, if it interests you - THK temple is not far from Lau Pa Sat). Have a wander around Chinatown.
Afterwards, to stay in the general area, I'd probably go to the Art Science Museum (which looks really cool, but we haven't been to - full disclosure though, we're not mall shoppers 😉).
Grab something to eat at the base of Marina Bay Sands hotel (there's some shopping there, too!) Before heading back to the Super trees for the light show.
Head back to your hotel and rest - you earned it!

When should we start to see the gardens by the bay if we have tickets of cloud forest floral fantacy and supertree observatory ..i mean pls say how much time these three atractions cover?
I would allocate 2 hours for Cloud Forest, 1-1.5 hours for Floral Fantasy, and 45-60 minutes for Supertree, but really, it depends on how busy things are. Enjoy!

It could be enough time for all 3, as long as you don't stay in any one particular dome for too long and have a short lunch. 😁

Quick question... can one visit floral fantasy on one day and the remaining gardens by the bay on another day... actually there is one day remaining without any activity... and unfortunately on that particular day floral fantasy is closed for maintainence... thanks...
I believe if you buy one of their packages, you have to visit all of the sites on the same day (our Super Tree ticket was purchased separately). Working around closure dates is tricky!

I think that's perfect then! It's easy to visit two in one day, especially since you'll already in the area. Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are pretty much right next to each other, and Floral Fantasy is a bit set apart from the others.

How did you find the light music show ?
We liked it!! It was a mix of songs we knew really well and a few we didn't. The ones that were well known, you could sort of hear everyone singing quietly along (including myself), which was fun. I'd definitely go back for it!

Approximately how long does both of you spend in each flower dome?
Floral Fantasy was the shortest - about an hour? The others were longer, maybe 1.5-2 hours each. Totally doable to do all 3 in one day!

It's free to walk around and to go to the light show at night, but it costs money to go inside anything. 😊
You like the Orchid flowers... And yet didn't visit the VIP Orchid Garden inside the Botanical Garden in your last video... Which is regrettable... The Orchid display there is way better...

Do you mean for the public transport system in Singapore? We didn't have a fee on top of paying for the transport. We make sure we use cards that have 0 foreign transaction fees when we travel (not sure whether that's an American thing!).

It is relatively difficult to grow flowers in an outdoor environment. Wind and rain are a problem, and sunlight temperature is a problem. The biggest problem is weeds. Any flower field will be quickly covered by weeds. This problem won't be seen in an indoor greenhouse.
