The Bass Gang is Tomi, Bobby Bass (aka Bobby Waters, who is also in The Wellermen-he’s the guy with the beard), Peter Barber (he has his own channel, puts out terrific covers and some pretty fantastic analyses of other groups’ covers), and Marwan Ayman (mustache, curly hair), who is just 18, and not only has that lovely, resonant bass (which is maturing quickly all of a sudden), but can do fantastic arrangements and does most of the group’s videos. They’ll be putting out a new song every week for a bit, and have some amazing featured singers slated. Great reaction, Brad, and I love that you caught that key change! Tomi was on Mortius’s channel and said he wanted it to be really subtle, so bravo, you!
Elliott Robinson is a legend of the a cappella world, but he's fairly unappreciated imo. He used to be Home Free's bass before Tim joined, he was in the House Jacks (the group Matt Sallee sang with before joining Pentatonix), and he's sung bass on several covers on Chris Rupp's channel. Elliott also provided all the bass vocals for Das Sound Machine in Pitch Perfect 2.
3:53 that was Elliott hitting a D1 IN CHEST!!! If you don't know Elliott, he has one of the lowest chest ranges in the world, and that D1 is already 2 notes lower than Geoff's lowest chest note, for example.

Tomi P is killing it with that deep bass growl.. The whole group is awesome!! I also have a very deep voice and im also glad to be able to sing along with other people that have the same deep voices..

I just checked and I don’t believe you’ve reacted to any Bass Gang songs before. They’ve got 5 before this one that I’m aware of. The only other one on The Bass Gang channel is their cover of The Emperors New Clothes by Panic at the Disco. The other ones are split between their individual channels (Peter Barber, Tomi P, Bobby Bass(Bobby Waters) and Marwan Ayman. You should definitely check those out.
Tomi also released an Avi Kaplan Medley with Efe Sayin that is terrific, but if you check it out, let it keep playing past the end of the vocals... there is a small cameo in there that is not to be missed.

(In fact, Marwan's only 18 & you can hear his voice developing & expanding between every video. 😯) Elliott Robinson's got an **insane** range. There's a vid of clips of him on TH-cam that includes a few seconds of his "Star Spangled Banner" where he riffs a smooth, gorgeous run in falsetto.... Amazing. 🤯 I really enjoyed where you pointed out things I wouldn't catch myself (like key change & harmonies) because learning helps me appreciate music more. You've got a good voice too-going to check out some more! 🤓

I love me some low notes but have you ever gone into a room with lots of pretty things scattered haphazardly around the room so while each individual thing is lovely to stare at the room as a whole just does not tie together? That is kinda the feel this arrangement of singers in this song…lots of lovely voices but kinda scattered not cohesive an arrangment.
