Your mum sounds lovely Paul. What gorgeous memories for you, of traditional festive activities. In my family we didn't eat mince pies until Christmas Eve (in the 1960s and 70s), listening to carols from Kings on the radio. My mum worked up until then, but spent the morning making the mince pies, ready for us to eat in the afternoon. As the light was fading, we'd all gather to listen to those stunning voices, launching our Christmas beautifully. (Ready made mincemeat though, not home made!)
We had the free electric this morning, heating on full, two loads of washing and charged the car. Richard I made some of those oat biscuits, ate some with Brie… delicious. I accidentally ate eight of them!!! 🤣 Lovely to see you both, Nessy 💜
U 2 R awesome !!!! 🥰🤩💚💕 I've never heard of a child that was told by their mum, to "stop posing", 🤣 Richard lol ..... that cracks me up, just thinking about it.
Brrrr, so cold this week......and we don't need to justify ourselves to other parts of the world! 10*c indoors when you work from home is cold! Oooooh, you're making me hungry with stir-up-Sunday talk and pies! POAP! I'm shouting POAP! 😁 Hahaha.....'hiding behind a dead neuron'....brilliant...and perfect! Oooh, I didn't know 'Between the Covers' was back on....yay! Oh my goodness....I would LOVE free electricity for two hours!!! Even if it meant having to get up way early. Have fun making the most of it! Enjoy the heat while it lasts. 😉 XXX
You know I watch partly because I have hair envy. Both of you have lovely wavy hair and I love it. My hair is like Vivi's straight dark blond, but at least I have hair, right!?! 😛👍
Free electric,,,wow that sounds brilliant 🤗 I did enjoy this Sunday chat,,thankyou 😇 I shall watch Rue’s race later,,I hope my favourite hasn’t gone. Keep warm 🌸xx
It is from Octopus Energy...they do it from time to time at short notice for one or two hours. You still pay but only for your usual level of usage and anything above that you are reimbursed for.
ME-CRO-WAAV-EY 😂😂😂😂 Tissues must always be within arms length 🤧 Paul & Richard I love your tea mugs….OMG! I was just talking about Bebe’s cig scene with a friend…it was absolutely brilliant! TY young men for another lovely show! 💜💜 ”Sunday Chat” is the videnda of TH-cam, a must-watch for anyone seeking insightful and educational discussions.
So uplifting to watch your joyful plans for those 2 free hours of electricity! Good plan to prep your dough etc, so you can get baking as soon as the magical hour strikes ⏰️🍪🍞😀
I hope you enjoyed your two free hours of electricity. I hope you had your alarm set; I’d be afraid of sleeping in and missing it! Can’t imagine being in a house heated to only 10°C 😬 Please report back next Sunday on what electricity based frolics you got up to.
Ohhh me!! I nearly spit my coffee when Paul said oh look there is a wrinkle!!! lol we have paramount+ we watch Fraser also and survivor , new Matlock, and we enjoy Elsbeth then stupid Ghosts lol that takes us on Wednesday and Thursday’s…enjoy your free energy morning .. it’s sunny should be 73 degrees F here today …
Hiya Boyz another great SUNDAY CHAT! I had to Google the Fraser Lol tis good. Unfortunately I’m only on Ytube no other nor do I want otherwise, best of luck with all. Agree if you’re getting a freebie from the electric use all you can. Take care southern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝
I've never heard of a power company giving back a few free hours. How great for you. Bet you and the house ended up toasty warm. I suspect there were glorious smells coming from the kitchen too. 😃
My plot friend recommended some pots with absorbing beads and a reservoir for water to help keep my shed dry. A pound each at supermarkets, but I found some that worked out at 89p if you purchased five of them. I have two kitchen cupboards, which are prone to moisture, and they are working a treat. I am so pleased to hear about the walks series as I really enjoyed watching them the first time around. I tried to search for the series a few weeks ago and failed, so I am pleased you have spoken of it today. I'm watching Shetland. I watched the Moonflower Murders which is a sequel to Magpie Murders.
10 degrees inside??!! I like it cold so I might try that:) Seriously, a few years ago I switched from turning the heating on at 18c and then switched to 14c as it's much more economical.
Yay for free energy. I've never heard of such a thing. Great to see and listen to you both. Have a wonderful week.

Not heard anyone say "mithering" for many years, so thank you Richard 🙏 We were regularly told off for this as kids!
Enjoy the glorious toastiness of Sunday morning.😁

Brilliant as always. I hope you enjoyed your ‘free’ electricity this morning. Bye for now.
We are currently basking in the warmth, cooking, washing and dehumidifying!

Thank goodness today is feeling a lot warmer despite the high winds.
Sometimes wish i still lived in the SE as 10c indoors would be bliss 🤭 those few degrees and the sunlight make all the difference from up here.

I know right mine is thin straight as a board what I would give for a little curl..
Thanks for another entertaining chat…..hope you are enjoying your free two hours and feeling positively toasty!

Another lovely Sunday chat. Any tasty frugal cooking videos on the way?
We haven't got anything planned at the moment but no doubt we will do another cookery video at some point in the near future.

I'd forgotten about gurning! 🤪 I wonder if they still hold competitions?
The hope that wild boars won't be re-introduced where you go for your walks! LMAO!! T'wud make for a somewhat hurried and risky weekend amble.

POAP should be the "word of the week."
Tee hee🐝🇨🇦

"I swear, I swear I will never go hungry again." as she was eating a turnip, raw.
Dear, Dear Scarlet O’Hara! 🥰
Petunias and Tarquins 😂 Madness 😔
Is actually 4 questions if you I clude the question about agreeing to group rules
Yes, and they're all relatively simple questions.
Could someone (Maybe in Comments) tell me who Vanessa is? I’d Appreciate it!🥰
Vanessa is the owner of For Earth's Sake and the Great Green Barn who Paul works for.
Thank You!!!🥰🥰🥰
My goodness there was a couple of moments when we caught a fleeting glimpse of Richard's little wrinkles!
For me it is only hearsay.
