- So we had one last visit from the Dodge owner before we started getting colour on the motor. He wanted to help take the clip off so he knew for future reference how to do it, and what a surprise we all got 😭.

Hey Sweet Pea🤗 well the owner didn't seem to phased about the filler cracking with a panel that size there isn't much you can do to avoid it unless you brace it all round but then it would weigh a tonne, I don't know if you can get a flexible filler for steel like you can for plastic that might help but it's a bit late now mate🤔😄
The front end is looking good now (or back then when you did it) it's in black primer and considering how bad it was with all the dents and rippled steel it looks great, looking forward to the next crazy instalment👌👊💪👍

And you're right, we didn't think about it flexing - you would have to run a cage of sorts right round the fucker to stop it.
I dug the offending filler out and used a 'semi' hard fibrefill. Seemed to do the trick. Only when we fitted it up did we realise it had also changed shape from sitting on the pallet/dolly the old man built, ended up boring the holes out on the radiator support to get it back on 😭

Whatever gets the ratings up on the channel is fair game in my opinion Luke. The front end is always going to flex no matter what you do with it apart from fitting a couple of RSJ's to it but you would need a crane to move it😂
My first door skin that I use for painting was very floppy so I had the idea of slapping some fibreglass on the inside, it made it more rigid but it distorted the panel and pulled the metal in all round the edges so that one got scrapped🤦♂🙄😂
@@JohnWD40TC02 yeah man, I dreading when he goes over speedbumps etc though 🤯. But there was only so far we could bash the metal!

@@mandymoo7406 no probs, I don't mind the recording bit, it's the editing that gives me headache 🤪. I got my leccy renewal through - I can either fix it for £900 a month or if I leave it-it could be upto £3k a month, pretty screwed either way 🤩
