Thanks for playing with such heart until the end. I know fans that gave up on you guys. But you played as a team and got to the last seconds of the MAC Championship Game.
It's not over as you guys will have one more game. 😢

I hope Magnus continues to develop and he gets a chance to play some offense. I know his dad, and he works his but off on defense. Good luck next year.

He has just begun to develop. Having been a D-1 player, pro player and D1 assistant, I can say the sky is the limit. Research on late-bloomers is quite promising. It’s exciting. Thank you for your support.

Who knows if Akron would've made or missed anyway. Can't fully say that lost them the game because Akron had last shot.

Like they said there’s 100 plays in a game. A costly mental error, of course, but he didn’t lose them the game with one play. Akron could have very well gone down and scored. Plus they had a whole 5 seconds left after the free throws. They probably could have gotten a better shot on that last play too. It’s a ton of things man it’s never one play.

@@BranJ89 Are you blind? He sprinted across to foul someone with four seconds left. Stop with the excuses. He was unaware and cost his entire season with his action. Regardless of how many plays, this ultimately cost them the game.

@@BranJ89The kid literally fouled on purpose when everyone knows not to. Sure they COULD’VE scored and they COULD’VE made a better shot in the end but the fact is that he DID chose to foul unnecessarily which led to Akron shooting free throws, then having to rush a shot on their last possession. HE LOST THE GAME.

@@BranJ89Those 100 plays led up to those final few seconds. Stop making excuses for a terrible play. Absolutely unaware and cost them their entire season. Unreal that you’re even trying to defend this dumb move. He single handedly put them in that terrible position.

@@Sharpidiot I’m not blind at all. The result was still in the air - Akron’s PG still had to hit two high-pressure free throws and Kent St had to miss their own attempt to score at the buzzer also. Tbh Kent St’s coach folded and tried to ice the free throw shooter with his last timeout instead of calling it after the second shot went in to advance the ball for the last play. That was also a huge miscue considering the quality of the last shot they got, with their PG shooting over two much taller defenders after having to run the length of the floor.
Perhaps if he was actually coaching instead of acting like a 12 year old on the sideline after the (bad) foul he may have been in his right mind to use his timeout at the correct time and draw a play up in the half court. They literally only needed a layup. People have scored more points in less time. The foul was admittedly horrible but again - there’s 100 plays in a game plus the coach folded instead of keeping his composure. 5 seconds is an eternity in basketball plus you don’t even have to shoot a 3? Come on.
Akron very well could have come down and hit the game winner with the 8 seconds they had also - you’re saying it cost Kent St the game as if they were automatically going to win after going up one point with almost 10 seconds remaining. It’s clearly a dumb foul but it actually isn’t as bad as we’re all making it out to be, especially considering they made two more bad plays afterwards when they still had a great chance to win.

Don’t get me wrong I’d be upset but I wouldn’t be too upset considering the fact that they probably would’ve had to play someone like Kentucky or Houston and let’s be honest they weren’t winning that in the movie so you can take it on chin and move on to next year

You gotta know by now that the unusual happens all the time in college ball near March madness, I personally don’t see them beating either of those two teams either but I’ve been watching college ball my whole life and we both should know by now that anything can happen so who knows how far they could have made it no matter how unlikely.
