I don't know if you noticed this about Chasing Lightning - the dialogue changes after the first one. First one was them "conforming to the standards" and the second one was them doing what they want because of their love, desire and passion for these things. It's somehow so motivating.
I did realize the change but I didn’t speak on it. That being said I didn’t pick up on the message in the moment so I appreciate comments like yours letting me know what I missed out on understanding
yunjin did an amazing job for writing n producing crazier my favourite ballad from lessearafim up to date i love how she was the vocal director this time every member sound too good with their own charm n tone
Pierrot is pronounced as "Pee-ye-ro". This song was sampled from the original by KIM WAN SUN - "Pierrot laughs at us". And then remade by UHM JUNG HWA, IU, AND LEE HYORI, that's why their names were shouted out.

Is it just me or does this album have three title tracks worthy songs in CRAZY, PIERROT, and 1-800? If not a full MV, I hope we can at least get a performance video for either PIERROT or 1-800.
I think it’s also important to note that according to Wikipedia, “Pierrot’s character developed from being a buffoon to an avatar of the disenfranchised.” Basically in more modern culture the Pierrot character is an archetype more than anything who represents someone who is mocked and victimized. The lyrics make it seem that the song is about how the fimmies don’t care if they are seen as an outcast or a “Pierrot” and they would rather do what they feel is right than be concerned of others judgement. It’s also a sort of homage to the ladies mentioned in the song since the sample is from the original song “Pierrot laughs at us”
Im the same age as you and I love Kpop and you right if you're enjoying something and not hurting nobody who gives af. We enjoy the things we enjoy and that's all there is to it. With Le Sserafim for example I gravitated to their whole concept of empowerment and perseverance through adversity because that's such a strong message that anyone can find strength in.

I just went to a show on the Kpop Breakout Tour with Craxy, Ichillin and U-Chae (formerly Dajeong of Pixy) and I had small conversation with this elderly couple that were probably in their late 60s-early 70s at least, and it was literally something they were doing for fun and to share a new experience together. And then you have the 76 yo Grandpa Ueana that IU invited to her show during the world tour. He became a fan just from an interest in watching Kdramas and an interest in learning the culture and sharing his journey with others. His joy in sharing his hobby brought others joy and to even IU who helped him attend her show. Im 36 now and I started listening to kpop in 2018 just casually as something to do at work...but it became an escape for me, especially as I dealt with the passing of my father. For some people its just a hobby, to others its also therapy. From the outside looking in, I get why people could misunderstand or question you...but like you said if it isnt hurting anybody, dont judge. Hold on to what brings you joy in life... you're never to old to enjoy life, whatever form that takes.
I hope you watch their Stage performance, Kazuha mobbing the camera is hilarious, then Yunjin stealing the ending fairy is amazing!!! But for people who don't know about their challenges.... they will think that Yunjin is being an attention seeker.
I'm really looking forward to MMA and MAMA 2024, they will definitely bring Chasing lightning to perform, it will be a great performance like they did in 2022.
