I discovered StiFi in 2016 in a hostel somewhere in Wellington, NZ... I was tucking into a free plate of pie, mash & peas, chugging a pint, and they were playing 'How To Fly' on a projector screen setup by the pool tables. Saw Dylan boppin' about with his bucket hat on. I asked one of the waitresses who this was, and that set off my love for the boys. I always get to tie their music to travelling around that part of the world on my own, discovering the things they were singing about in the places that inspired it, only a couple years younger. Fucking class.
stifi is one of those bands that reminds me how much music has grown with me and how it literally shapes my existence in this planet. I've been so much, done so much, seen and felt so fuckin much and in the background was always something playing. To feel music this much is nothing but a blessing

I literally searched sticky fingers slow songs to find they have a song called slow songs, man, this band saved my life, I’ve just been discharged from a mental hospital, turns out I’ve been so physically sick it was causing me to act erratically. Just thank you Sticky Fingers.
