A couple things: The green mode light on your wheel is blinking when it should be steady green, that's why you were facing some troubles using the paddles while navigating the menus. The tuning menus are much faster in single player. It's a problem with online latency, not with the menus. The Murcielago is awd not rwd, set the diff bias all the way to the rear for some good slides.

Hey slap, i run with paddles on fh2 also, but I can look back. If you go into the controls you can sub in the look back button. You might have to play with it a bit because I had to with mine but it works fine once you get it.
slap what i did with the diago saito lambo is al max upgrade but the trany is storm island and suspention is storm island and no tire upgrades and no chassis reinforcement with tune i put tire pressure to max than springs are max stiff and realy low camber front -3.0 and rear i think is stock -0.5 and thats about it storm island tranny is to get more acceleration then speed
My one hope for horizon 3 is that it combines the track racing (forza 6) with the free roam of horizon 1 + 2. That would be crazy difficult to produce but it would be amazing
