can someone please explain what the point is of clipping into a steel cable line at the very beginning of the video. climbing up the rope ladder....does this make it safer somehow? im asking because im about to build something similar and was looking for ways to ensure some some saftey.
@@john_mills_nz Two of my friends stopped at level 4. Me and one of my other friends completed level 5 and stopped there. Way too exhausted to get further
When you have to manoeuvre around the tree that the platforms are built in is there any point where you’re not clipped in at all? It looks like for a second both of your safety things are unclipped
Can you skip certain obstacles on a course or its linear and you have to do all of them? lol. The one at 2:15 is def not for me hahaha, I got sweaty hands just watching it lol.
If you can’t complete an obstacle the staff will come and rescue you but it is game over. However, I’ve seen people cheat their way around obstacles using the zipline attachment on the safety wire.

The zip lines are very fun!
I'm doing this tomorrow with a couple of friends, looks killer!
Update: Was an AMAZING day! Though body is very sore/aching. I would definitely recommend it though to others!
Cool. How far did you get through?

Nice one! It would be a real mission to do them all in one day.
@@john_mills_nz it would be unless you were used to these kind of obstacles!
The obstacle at 2:15 was hell for me xd
Yeah I dont think I can do those lol.
Yeah on that one the rope slips on each step until it hits the knot. Nasty! 🤣
@@john_mills_nz yea haha

No you’re always connected to the wire. It’s only possible to remove both clips at the beginning and end of each course where they have a “tail” wire.
@@john_mills_nz thanks for the quick reply man. How high is the course at the highest?
Course 5 goes up to 26 metres. Course 6 goes even higher!
The device in your hand can not unlock both at the same time right?
That’s right. Only one opens at a time.
on a certain rope uwu
My class and I are going for a trip.
You’re in for some good fun!
would i do this yes but no
I did course 1-5 and on the lilli pad things at the start of course 5 I froze for a while but the rest was ez

@@john_mills_nz 3 rescues then game over. Gotta give people a chance to conquer fear.
@@annaleekale2957 no it’s one unless it changed in the last 6 months
Once you complete a level, do you go back down or does it just continue onto the next level?
You go back down and walk to the start of the next one.
@@john_mills_nz also can you do each level more than once?
You probably could, but I don’t think you’re supposed to.
Completed that today ☺ more harder than it looks
Nice one! Agreed, especially if you do it properly and don’t cheat 😀
I cheated on 3b lol
I got up to level 6 and I am only 11
That’s great! Where did you do that? Wellington only goes up to level 6.
It was a typo
