    hi James. so appreciate your videos every time. They are so well thought out and crafted. Just like your paintings! I do get a little concerned that you are sanding old paint in an interior environment without a respirator. Is my concern misplaced?
    Looking forward to giving your method a try...Also wanted to mention Gamblin's oil ground i think is great for repurposing old substrates. Thanks for posting. Much appreciated.

      Thanks very much Norman! Those are good suggestions. Actually I briefly looked for that oil ground but couldn’t find it locally, and was impatient; but I’m kind of liking the consistent Portland grey colors anyway. But I will try it eventually.
