It was just too similar to Easy as 1-2-3 and that would've left people confused between both games.

Why don't CBS do more primetime specials anymore?
With all the gimmicks they do during the daytime series, it makes primetime specials moot.
Plus they probably can't compete with Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune
I think budget might be another reason
