Aquarius mercury and venus, and one of the things I hate the most is when people try to box me in, or they generally see the world in black and white, with no nuances. Putting everyone into small boxes- nothing puts me off more than narrow mindedness. I'm not generally a very aggressive person but I don't have count on how many times I've argued with people about their narrow-minded world views. I'm very attracted to open-mindedness. My Grandma has this placement.. (along w/her moon; both on the ascendant) She also has a stellium in cap in the 12th (Mars Sun Saturn) MC in Scorp… No comment, lol. Venus in Aquarius here (also: sun, rising, Mercury, and Saturn)! Friends first is an absolute MUST for me. The very concept of entering a romantic relationship with someone without having a deep connection with them first baffles me. I need to know that we're going to connect on a level that goes deeper than skin. If not, then what's the point? While I can appreciate someone for their good looks, appearance isn't going to stimulate me very much (or at all in most cases, tbh). And even if it sounds bad to say, those types of relationships sound like a waste of time and energy to me. I'd rather be single and enjoy my time with friends and by myself while I study whatever new interest I have. Physical touch is one of my love languages, but that's reserved for people I am already close to. Snuggling while having a stimulating conversation--or even just watching something that we can have a discussion about--is satisfying to me. But if I'm not already friends with you, I typically want lots of space from you...like a personal bubble until I feel like you've "earned" that side of me. Also, if you can't understand my friends are just as important to me and I crave time away from you that I just spend with them?? Not gonna work. Don't try to monopolize my time. @@roii98 I, too, have read in a lot of places that Taurus Venus and Aquarius Venus can have difficulty getting along - but I think that's mostly because Taurus is traditionally possessive whereas Aquarius needs and craves freedom. Some Aquarians don't want to settle down, but that's the entire makeup of the Taurean nature - looking to settle down (will even stubbornly stay in a dead-end relationship because they want to try to work things out). If the Taurus Venus isn't very understanding or accepting or becomes too overbearing/controlling, and if Aquarius Venus is too flighty or non-committal and maintains a wandering eye, these placements can find difficulty in getting along...but it works incredibly well for me and my husband 😁 it totally depends on the other aspects though! For instance, we have 2 grand water trines in our composite chart and some really helpful aspects in our synastry chart, so it's important to look at the whole chart 😉 these videos are good for understanding archetypes, which is crucial!

This is so true, especially about relationships. I was with my ex husband for 11 years. I'm now in my mid-30s and testing out different types of relationships, however I DO want that connection with someone. This is still very important. But let's try some new things lol.. The common thread it seems after being single for 2 years is I want that deep connection, but I want my freedom to explore. And I know that can be hard for some people, which is why I've had to end relationships sooner than later, bc I didn't want to hurt someone's feelings, or string them along. I'm not about that at all. I'm very upfront and honest. Edit: My ex husband and I are still close friends and check in on each other about once a month. Another thing you mentioned is friendship is more important, and this is true. I think since he and I had such a strong friendship foundation, this allowed us to continue to be friends even after our divorce.

Peoples experiences and life have always fascinated me. Men who have been interested in me have never understood my need of platonic friendships I have with males and females. Sometimes I joke with my boyfriend about having a girlfriend too and that would just be one relationship (one with a male and one with a female). I’ve never had a particular type but types. I’ve always been drawn to artists of any kind, those involved in humanitarian efforts and psychology. Nothing turns me off faster than a potential partner who wants to control me, doesn’t understand my need to develop a solid friendship first, and expects physical intimacy right away. This would explain why I’ve met people of my same sun sign and didn’t click, found them too detached and commitment phobic or why I’ve met people of my opposite sign or ones that the books say I’d be incompatible with yet got along really well with. My best friend is a Scorpio sun with a Venus in Scorpio yet she has a Mars in Libra and several other air planets so I believe this is why we can relate and are very similar. Knowing her for all these years, I can definitely say that I appreciate how deep, loyal, passionate she is and how we both share an interest in occults, crime shows, scary movies, paranormal activity, astrology, and mysteries. My sun and moon are both in the 12th house and my moon and ascendant are both in Pisces so that adds Piscesean qualities to me as well and makes me more introverted, sensitive, imaginative, creative and find the need to withdraw at times to recharge. I don't see Belle as a Libra at all. Belle is unconventional and a misfit in her town. She's often mocked by the townspeople as a weirdo because she's so unusual and misunderstood. Friends first is an absolute MUST for me. The very concept of entering a romantic relationship with someone without having a deep connection with them first baffles me. I need to know that we're going to connect on a level that goes deeper than skin. If not, then what's the point? While I can appreciate someone for their good looks, appearance isn't going to stimulate me very much (or at all in most cases, tbh). And even if it sounds bad to say, those types of relationships sound like a waste of time and energy to me. I'd rather be single and enjoy my time with friends and by myself while I study whatever new interest I have.
Physical touch is one of my love languages, but that's reserved for people I am already close to. Snuggling while having a stimulating conversation--or even just watching something that we can have a discussion about--is satisfying to me. But if I'm not already friends with you, I typically want lots of space from you...like a personal bubble until I feel like you've "earned" that side of me.
Also, if you can't understand my friends are just as important to me and I crave time away from you that I just spend with them?? Not gonna work. Don't try to monopolize my time. I actually tend to favor friendships over partnerships. So I need balance and space, and definitely do not function well in relationships with people who constantly need me to loudly love on them. Someone is out there for people like that, but it's not me.

It's funny because when you started saying what our love languages were I was waiting for you to say "quality time," which is a HUGE one for me! @@roii98 I, too, have read in a lot of places that Taurus Venus and Aquarius Venus can have difficulty getting along - but I think that's mostly because Taurus is traditionally possessive whereas Aquarius needs and craves freedom. Some Aquarians don't want to settle down, but that's the entire makeup of the Taurean nature - looking to settle down (will even stubbornly stay in a dead-end relationship because they want to try to work things out). If the Taurus Venus isn't very understanding or accepting or becomes too overbearing/controlling, and if Aquarius Venus is too flighty or non-committal and maintains a wandering eye, these placements can find difficulty in getting along...but it works incredibly well for me and my husband 😁 it totally depends on the other aspects though! For instance, we have 2 grand water trines in our composite chart and some really helpful aspects in our synastry chart, so it's important to look at the whole chart 😉 these videos are good for understanding archetypes, which is crucial!

Ugh, this is so spot on… I have Aquarius in Venus, but then I’m also Capricorn sun and Pisces moon and sometimes I feel very conflicted about things, and this helped a little… For example, I’m attracted to interesting people and i like to connect on intellectual level, but then I think I’m actually boring and not that intelligent myself! I don’t like doing the things the way other people do, e.g part of me doesn’t want kids and traditional family, but then I’d like some stability and have someone to lean on. Also, I can get very emotional and sensitive but then I don’t like when other people are clingy and needy. Wtf? 😂😂

Wow! This was so incredibly accurate! I have a heavy amount of Aquarius in my chart paired with Pisces sun. I need my time to recharge and not sure if I want the traditional lifestyle unless it's with the right person. I hate too much touchy-feely stuff and the point where shit is too emotional because I do find it scares me off. This is so true, especially about relationships. I was with my ex husband for 11 years. I'm now in my mid-30s and testing out different types of relationships, however I DO want that connection with someone. This is still very important. But let's try some new things lol.. The common thread it seems after being single for 2 years is I want that deep connection, but I want my freedom to explore. And I know that can be hard for some people, which is why I've had to end relationships sooner than later, bc I didn't want to hurt someone's feelings, or string them along. I'm not about that at all. I'm very upfront and honest.
Edit: My ex husband and I are still close friends and check in on each other about once a month. Another thing you mentioned is friendship is more important, and this is true. I think since he and I had such a strong friendship foundation, this allowed us to continue to be friends even after our divorce.

Peoples experiences and life have always fascinated me. Men who have been interested in me have never understood my need of platonic friendships I have with males and females. Sometimes I joke with my boyfriend about having a girlfriend too and that would just be one relationship (one with a male and one with a female). I’ve never had a particular type but types. I have Venus in Scorpio as well as Scorpio Mars, Mercury, & Uranus, but 3 of them are in the 11th house which is the home of Aquarius. Uranus in the 11th house makes me the most unique person you could every meet! I do like people who are gender fluid, but I also like someone who is reliable, honest, and upfront. I am a true artist and a natural born psychologist because of all of my planets in Scorpio-Mercury in Scorpio. So even though I do videos on my channel about certain sign placements, I also mention and believe that the whole chart works together to form our own unique human experience...so even if you have Venus in Aquarius, like you said your Taurus Mars and my Taurus moon can make us and otherS like this quite contradictory:) My relationships have always felt fated so I trust that and let the rest go by the wayside.

This would explain why I’ve met people of my same sun sign and didn’t click, found them too detached and commitment phobic or why I’ve met people of my opposite sign or ones that the books say I’d be incompatible with yet got along really well with. My best friend is a Scorpio sun with a Venus in Scorpio yet she has a Mars in Libra and several other air planets so I believe this is why we can relate and are very similar. Knowing her for all these years, I can definitely say that I appreciate how deep, loyal, passionate she is and how we both share an interest in occults, crime shows, scary movies, paranormal activity, astrology, and mysteries. My sun and moon are both in the 12th house and my moon and ascendant are both in Pisces so that adds Piscesean qualities to me as well and makes me more introverted, sensitive, imaginative, creative and find the need to withdraw at times to recharge. I’ve always believed that unless someone is a serial killer, rapist, child molester, or just an overall horrible person, I can’t judge them as a person and must be accepting of their taste or opinions regarding different mines.

The bit about Venus in Taurus & not being able to see your friends enough is sooo accurate. Both times I’ve dated a VIT I’ve ended up being shut away from friends/family cos they are so possessive n just wanna see you/message all the time and will literally drive miles n miles just to come see you which is nice and romantic (my cancer moon approves) BUT my aries stellium/aqua Venus ends up feeling stifled after a while. I don't see Belle as a Libra at all. Belle is unconventional and a misfit in her town. She's often mocked by the townspeople as a weirdo because she's so unusual and misunderstood.
