I think the self coloured plastic trim on our "modern" vehicles is a complete failure, even the high end vehicles have plastic trim that turns a horrible grey dried up looking texture after just a few months, the other fail is the powder coating on metal fitting, the sun down here in Southern France just makes them so the same grey colour in a short time, the only problem I see with painting these plastic parts is that most have had some sort of silicon treatment, I have cured the Land Rover bumpers with satin black spray, and that still looks good after 18 months, I will try the plastic spray next! Nice to see it is warm enough to wear shorts where you are! Stay dry, Chris B.
You’ve done some great videos especially the RRS vids. Painting the plastics looks good but after detailing cars and vans for 22 years I find a heat gun works just as good. Vauxhall and transits come up like new. 👍
Yeah, I've seen those vids with heat guns, would have been easier and quicker!! Thanks for being so nice about the video's, as long as they help people👍
Excellent. Thank you
You are welcome!

Thanks Chris. Actually although I live in Scotland I work in London in the week, and this is the place I stay at, hence the sunnier weather !
@@GrooveOn I thought something was different! It all seemed much brighter. Stay dry! Chris B.
