I hate it when people bring little kids to have this done, but do absolutely nothing to help hold them when they start fighting! I feel bad for these guy’s having to deal with that. They’re nicer then I am bc I’d for sure be telling them to either make themself useful and hold the baby instead or get out. Instead they sit there like a lazy bump on a log and just laugh!
I feel sorry for the babys, I don't think it's necessary to traumatize your baby for earrings you can see what it does to your baby and laugh wile they are doing it . were is your compassion for your child.you can have this piercing when they are a little older.
Why do this when she’s going to have to wear one of those things on her head as a girl and cover her ears anyway? Makes no sense to put that child thru that and mother not even comforting her at all,, she just laughs.. pure ignorance
Well first of all, this is the grandmother. Secondly, it’s not done for looks. It’s a part of their religion and culture. Obviously women’s ears are covered in this culture so it’s not done to make the child look more beautiful. In the USA, 95% of the time it’s done for vanity, but obviously that’s not the case here since her ears will be covered in the future
I completely agree 💯 there's no sense in putting that poor little girl through all this pain and torture for nothing. I have never in my life heard of a religion that requires females to get their ears pierced.

This child is just awful! Sadly, though she seems to be very emotionally neglected, which probably helps to account for her horrendous behavior. I know it’s the Grandma holding and not providing any comfort, but I am assuming the mother is there and doing nothing as well. So many of these babies seem to be totally neglected emotionally and the mothers and grandmothers have no clue how to provide it. I don’t think I’ve ever recall seeing such a cold Grandma. This child is desperate for a hug after having a stranger inflict physical pain on her and Grandma can’t even give a hug for comfort. Instead of the child sees grandma laughing at her. I think the only thing worse is when you see them actually tell the children to just shut up when they’re crying.
