So when are you guys doing a timeline story of crime around the camp. How these campers started victimizing homeowners/businesses non stop w/in blocks of camp. 🤬

Those who sleep in warm beds are always the victim. Be quiet and just be grateful. People are so bitter... They can't just be grateful.

@@Coldnfallen what? Literally the stupidest thing I have read today. Because someone lives in a house or apt or runs a business nearby, that means they can have their things stolen, be assaulted, have to clean needles/paraphernalia off their property?! What a load of BS. Try taking your own advice and be quiet. Post your address so they can steal from you, you’re grateful right 🙄👍🏻

@@cleo751 your toes aren't freezing off at night. You can go to the bathroom at 2 am without fearing the police. You have the ability to judge people like animals. You get to act like a primitive beast toward a human being. You have that privilege. And you won't think twice about it when you go to bed warm and safe and not raped tonight.

@@Coldnfallen good job ignoring my comment because you have no answer. Being in unfortunate circumstances doesn’t give someone the right to commit crimes against others. Those living around camp dope don’t get to sleep well at night, they worry about their things being taken, getting their house broken into, etc. crime has gone up extremely around camp, that says it all. Camp of thieves and addicts😡

@@cleo751 assumptions that the people in that camp are causing your crime issue are the issue. Assumptions that you get to make. I didn't ignore you. I pointed out that you, the one who has, gets to other ALL who do not. You would have profiled me. Not all of us are criminals who have been on the streets. Not all of us are addicted. It's not like the community has been very neighborly.
Conservatives are funny. So pro Christian until they have to show their face to the world. Those who understand what love thy neighbor means get to see your colors. Your hurt and pain and loss has jaded you so you can treat people like animals.
      It is gross.

My brother lives in a RV Spokane during the summer for construction work. Well over half the crew he works with take advantage of the lax homeless laws to avoid rent and occasionally get food aid (they earn plenty of money, they just get to keep more of it if they don’t have to pay rent). These are young men easily earning 7500-85000 per month from May through October. Unfortunately many of them also have addiction problems as well. When the building season is over they travel back to the southern US where they have homes and continue working through winter. I know they don’t make up the majority of homeless that you see up there but the point I’m making is that homelessness is a kind of grift, it’s a manipulation of the system that allows them to choose their lifestyle over conforming to healthier lifestyles that maybe are a little too rule based for their maladaptive circumstance. We all see how the majority of food aid is used, they aren’t out their buying rice and beans to stretch their dollar (like the majority of employed folks do.) If you want to tackle homelessness you have to start approaching the problem from a firm footing of law and order, quit enabling it, quit funding it.

Another felon I met learned locksmithing (believe or not) in prison and now owns his own locksmith business. The homeless and drug problems have really jumped since the lockdowns. I have lived in Spokane for over 24 years, we NEVER saw homeless. Not in tents or anything. You'd see panhandlers sometimes.. But now? Now it's insane. Something I never thought I'd see here. It must be having a devasting effect on the businesses downtown, and I know it is near Camp Hope. We had to practically step over a homeless guy last summer when us 3 had dinner at a favorite restaurant downtown. Makes us not want to go back so we don't have to deal with that. Christmas day we went to dinner, again downtown, and I was shocked at the seeing a couple dozen homeless under a main viaduct I've passed by a million times with no one there. $1.7 Trillion passed with not a penny to our own damn border. Not a penny to help our own people dealing with drugs and homelessness and violent crime. It's madness.

Y'all run around looking at people like Trump like he would have done you better. You literally look at the easiest "other." Newsflash, buddy.
The lack of mental health care in our society because of lack of funding, the lack of parental support to help disadvantaged parents raise kids when they don't have family to help with generational wealth, the lack of support for those who are on our streets are the issue...
Educate yourself. You seem to think they are horrible people for wanting to live. Conservatives are so shallow in heart and thought. It's heart breaking to see that humanity has evolved to the likes of a Trump voter.

    • @ronlowney4700

🤥 Once again, Liberal Lies, to make you feel better about yourself! 😳 You don't want people to judge you by the way you look (even though how you "adorn yourself" reflects upon your "mental stability") and then you judge me for telling it like it is regarding the economy and border security! This "Heartless Person" worked in both prison ministry and the homeless shelters, voluteering for years! My daughter works professionally, helping women come out of sex trafficking - Trafficking Rings run by Democratic Politicians! They also happen to be the Main Drug Dealers and those busted by the FBI in My Home Town were the local Judges and law enforcement, who were also selling justice for money under the table for decades (ALL Liberals)! Most of the people with homeless problems have substance abuse and mental health issues, but my former Democratic Governor threw them out onto the street in the middle of winter (compassionate Liberal that he is, from the prisons and mental institutions), while recieving $150 million dollars from Chucky Schumer and the Democrats to run for re -election (most of which, he pocketed, Not Donated to help others)! He also freed convicted murderers, drug dealers, and child sex traffickers! However, our current Governor (A Republican) donated his entire paycheck to help others and then built a homeless shelter out of his own pocket! What about your Democratic Governor Inslee, can he say that? 😂 Of course not! Our current Governor also created hundreds of good paying jobs as a private citizen! Tell me how legalizing drugs is helping them or our society, but that is What Liberals Want! Your seeing the results of "Your Bad Decisions" (you reap what you sew dear)! My uncle, with 3 PHD's, spent the majority of his life studing and writing books on this issue and 95% of the people incarcerated have substance abuse problems and 90% come from single parent homes! I KNOW THE FACTS! Meanwhile, this person you call "Uneducated" happens to be a Professional Engineer (with a Genius IQ) and who put himself through Engineering School with a family by working 2 full time and 2 part time jobs at the same time as going to school full time and raising a family! I worked 23 hours a day and slept 45 minutes a night and 15 minutes to eat and shower! Most of my life, I have worked 16 to 18 hours per day and still found time to help others! So, Don't YOU be Lecturing Me About "What I Understand", as I may be running for Governor of My State in just a few years! 🤑

I just came from there. The system there supports the lazy and addicted. I sought medical, and legal assistance so I could help myself. Instead, they wanted to give me shelter, food, financial assistance, food, and more. They never gave me the help I needed to help myself. I REFUSED IT!!! Not only that, I gave all my belongings away to others. Left California. And helped those I know who genuinely need help. Like children, and sick elderly people. And I haven't lacked anything since. You would be surprised how much you will receive if you put your hand out to HELP, instead of to take. People are generally good, and compassionate.
However, they get sick of helping those who won't help others, and more importantly, help themselves.
