Space is not a limitation but just an opportunity to inspire your creativity. You don’t need a big space to garden but It’s all about making the best use of what you have!

If you grow lavender around your pond, it helps control mosquitos and then you have lavender for tea, pastries and potpourri!

U can even put small guppies in there too. Adn when doing water change used they're old water to water the plants. It would nourish the plant a lot

I recommend adding a handful of nano fishes to any small outdoor pond anyone makes, like 2 to 5 male guppies

in our garden we had 3 fish pond
and inside it is tilapia and catfish
we use their water for our plants
I used to have a front porch pond exactly like this with water Lillie's and hyacinths. You can use a normal plastic fake half barrel and plug the holes with jb weld marine. Cover the bottom with dirt. Mine sat undisturbed for 3 years and never leaked any water out. I've since emptied it and put a brugmansia in it lol

While I’m not a vegan and not usually a fan of vegan dishes I love your channel a lot, it’s really cool to see how much a garden can provide in dishes and such, I live in New Jersey so I can grow a pretty large variety of things here but man you can never go wrong with some Jersey tomatoes, they are so unbelievably delicious especially with some mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette on top

A small tip for the pond
The snails like to eat algea that grow bc of high nurtients in the water
In aquariumstores you can buy pond fertilizer that is safe for the snails and give them some more to eat

How do you keep it away from raccoons ?
If you do this in Canada you will rapidly acquire a small population of mosquito larvae. Do you do something that prevents this
