    God bless you my brother. A lack of love, wickedness, selfishness and greed has led a few people to literally sell of our country. This brings a very sad and shameful feeling. As you speak one name comes to my mind, J.K. Rawlins. Whenever the wickedness and atrocities in any nation gets out of control, God normally intervenes.

    You are wise and aware, a lone voice in the wilderness. Your chosen theme echoes one salient injunction from the mystical classic 'Unto Thee I Grant': "Whatsoever thou resolve to do, do it quickly; defer not until the evening what the morning can accomplish."
    The problem in Nigeria is well known, but what is lacking is the willingness to confront it head-on.

      To append to your correct analogy... Some say that the subsequent Nuremberg trails were a form of "victors justice". Not for me to say, but I do know that ALL such "day afters" REQUIRE such uncompromising, public, moral and criminal JUSTICE ⚖️. Future generations must know and see the line that separates them from what was almost their destruction. Peace, from truth and justice.

    I am happy it has become clear that we cannot save Nigeria through the ballot box as I have always opinned since 2020. Kenneth Okonwo wrote something recently and people who lack the capacity to reason attacked him and I laughed. Peter Obi will NEVER become president if he continues this kind of politics. If you are not ready to grab your mandate as presented to you by the masses, you aint ready. Edo is only a rehearsal for 2027!

      @@Shomac1. First given that the system of society has more or less collapsed in Nigeria, you can not take or used the Edo elections as an example, people did not vote for that, and it’s irrelevant what you voted for, corruption always prevail. Secondly, as the dele explains, democracy has left the country call Nigeria, and it’s not going to save or change Nigeria. The only rescuers is a big revolution, to reset the country and create a new Nigeria. My dad is 83 years old, retired , a banker, civil servant in the second republic and he also worked with the military government of buhari , lbb, and brutal dictatorship of Sunni Abasha . He thinks the only people who can start a revolution are the people with the aid of the military. And it’s important as the writer says - what happens the after that revolution?

    How can a people who are so divided become one? First each region must become one. With 3-4 voices, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa (Fulani) it becomes easier to set a table for dialogue. This can not be therefore Chaos becomes our only inevitable option. We must again therefore discuss how this chaos can be managed. Time may be limited for mankind but time is available for causes.

  • @kingsleyochonogor9184

    On a flipper side the reason why a revolution can never happen is because the systems in place are faulty.
    We need non state institutions that clearly symbolizes Patriotism (collective interest rather than individual), humanity, integrity and honour.
    If we succeed in having these institutions, we cannot also afford to have someone who is a human right activist in the afternoon and a politician at night, and expect a genuine revolution. It doesn't work that way.
    Being a human right activist and a politician is like mixing Bleach + Ammonia (produces toxic chloramine gas). If you want to know the potential hazard it portends, look at previous previous human right activists who because leaders. They end up being worst than the monster they were fighting against. I will not mention names because we know them and they know them selves.

    I used to be a zealous Christian until l experienced many tragedies in recent years that have forced me to question the existence of a good God. I have wondered why good people do die and why the wicked men in Nigeria are alive and enjoying life. Where's the good God?

    • @highlyfavored5207
      @highlyfavored5207 หลายเดือนก่อน

      God is good all the time and all the time God is good. You clearly do not understand the God you claimed to serve. Where in the Bible does it tell you that being a Christian means you will not suffer tragedies or loses? If the Lord God could offer up His only begotten son to go through the trauma of being nailed to the cross to purchase our salvation, why then will you give up on God because you suffered tragedies? Did you not read about all the tragedies and sufferings the Apostles went through? Do you know many of them tragically lost their lives while trying to preach the gospel? The Christian walk is not easy but if you truly love the Lord God Yahweh and His son Jesus Christ Yeshua and the Holy Spirit, you will not give up on the Heavenly Father Yahweh. We live in a wicked and fallen world so bad things will sometimes happen even to good people who don't deserve it but we cannot give up on Yahweh. He is our constant help in times of trouble. He is our Ebenezer. Testing and trials will come because we must be refined. Heaven is not an easy place to get into. May the Heavenly Father Yahweh grant you Grace not to fall away in Jesus Christ Yeshua's Name Amen.
