I wish I was older during this time and were able to view these old movies on WCBS and WABC - about the only times I was able to was when I couldn't sleep and went to the living room to watch TV or when they had these movies on the weekend afternoons. So many memories right here.

WBBM-TV (channel 2) in Chicago did not carried “The Late Show”, they only showed “The All Electric Magik Lantern Moving Picture Show”. Both WCBS-TV and KNXT-TV in Los Angeles did carried “The Late Show”. It was on right after the “Channel 2 Showcase”.

Actually, it was originally named the movie "Cat & Mouse" back in 1974 from Universal Pictures. It was a "made for T.V." movie. But when I saw the slide "Mousey" WCBS TV should've named the original theme slide just because of a theme sequence so I think that should've been in the slide.

Their Late Show on WCBS TV got their slide tilted, no wonder that nobody's perfect of their commercials bumpers. I gotta check out "Mousey" with the late, great Kirk Douglas. If they have that on DVD or used to be Turner Classic from way back. Haven't seen that movie in years.
