Firstly, on this platform, what authority Muneeb, as a lawyer, has to say that the Govt. Will not obey the SC decision on the reserved seats matters. Is he a spokeman for the govt or anyone else? He should know very well that there is something called 'contempt of court'. Has this any value in our laws ? Why our Courts' decisions are considered to be unfair by the loosing party. Are they so ignorant not to know that the Courts decisions are made on their own merits and in the light of the constitution and the current laws. It is toally absurd if anyone considers, as the current trend indicates, that the Courts decisions are deliberately made in favour of one party. If it is made on that basis then certainly it is not based on the true judgement of the case, and so there is no justice and this irrational thinking will then apply to any case judgement.
We must respect our Constitution and the laws of the country. No one is above the laws of the country. If you do not obey the laws then your place is prison. All the Institutions accept this. Politics is not exempt from it and this kind of mentality which Muneeb is trying to promote and wish to spread in this public media could itself be regarded as contempt of the court. So do not try to be clever in these matters.
Please use your media platform with great care and responsibility as such messages damage the stability, respect and reputation of a judicial system. No one would dare to say such thing in a today's civilised country where it cannot be tolerated. Their respect of their laws, which are very strongly enforceable, is one aspect of their respect to their laws. Otherwise It can lead to the development of an anarchy in a country. So keep away from such damaging statements just to gsin some cheap publicity of no value.
