I just love Jiaxin's mother. Her message to Ziyi opened the door for Ziyi to reach out to Jiaxin. The conversations between Ziyi & Jiaxin in the balcony were painful but honest. I think deep down Ziyi wanted a family of his own. One must remember that he grew up an orphan and raised by his grandmother.
I really appreciate what the writer did with the characters here. All of them are really nice, the story is really focused on the main casts, no annoying rich mom that doesn't like the female lead, has a cool and awesome grandma, not a lot of scene fillers (like second couple scenes) and both lead actors have great natural chemistry! I'm so glad I listened to those TH-cam commentors who highly reccomended this drama. This is like a story straight up from Wattpad and I'm diggin' it so much! ❤
the mother's love and grief for her daughter!! It's so good. She's so heartbroken and angry but also she is putting trust in her daughter. Such a good depiction of a complex relationship. btw, that baby picture made me laugh wayyy too hard lmao.
I cried in this episode.. Jiaxin's mom really loves her and she really advocated for her. I love her personality too.. It's funny that the episode when the mom sets everyone straight the grandma comes back.. Also loved that Xiyi wanted to kiss Jiaxin.. I'm convinced that Dylan's sister is Jiaxin's best friend.. buut there are still 20 more episodes, so I KNOW there is probably going to be a lot of drama especially with Anna.. I think Xiyi has finally acknowledged his feelings for Jiaxin and is leaning more towards her than Anna, but when Anna comes into the picture, that's when the real test will be had.. However, the fact that Anna turned him down and stood him up ~11 times is telling about the kind of person she is.. Also, the fact that Jiaxin is so nurturing and loving really tugged at Xiyi's heartstrings.. I was expecting him to be MAD about the picture, but he took it really well, I must say..

What an epi this has been, Loved it. Loved loved loved the letter the Mom sent to her son-in-law, it opened his eyes. Feel the moms pain, here opening up to the aunt. The cuteness with them taking care of the kid, him realizing that the choice of when to be a mother taken away from Jaixin after hearing Anna's words. The best part of the drama the message by the mom to her son-in-law and then the talk between our Jaixin and Xiyi. Loved loved loved this epi loads. The mom, Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin all rocked. Hope to see Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin working together as leads in more dramas together.
Besides, the grandma, the aunt and her son are nice characters, love it the connection when jia xin talks with them like a family. Definitely I like this version, but also like the version of chen qiao en & ethan ruan. Both dramas are well made!

The best part of the drama the message by the mom to her son-in-law and then the talk between our Jaixin and Xiyi. Loved loved loved this epi loads. The mom, Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin all rocked. Hope to see Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin working together as leads in more dramas together.
