My favorite was the one where the car did a full frontflip off the swing set. It must have taken forever to get a shot where it didn't rotate side to side at all.

Yes, I noticed that each 'in car' camera shot had the same front end. So, each specific car completed the stunt then it was reshot using the camera car.

Try Target or Walmart, they usually have 3 ft for $2

Near me in Southern California, only Toys R Us carried long straight tracks. Target didn't have anything, and Walmarts tracks were too short.
Vintage straight tracks are also on Ebay, they are longer than the new tracks
