For the 2 stroke lovers they should put a vape filled with maxima 927 wired into the throttle
I see you're a man of taste
Castor 927 *chefs kiss*
I put 1oz per 5gal of 927 in my ‘23 4stoke, smell is awesome and can’t hurt for a little extra lube
Corruption confirmed @1:44
Should of just stuck with the 2 strokes.
Yall don’t get it have you heard of follow the money?
I'm interested in the sound in the stadium at a electric supercross. Remember when 2-stroke changed to 4. Riders will be able to talk mid-race a lot easier. lol
The only issue with electric racing is that it sucks all the awesomeness out! Like nitro rally cross. I looooved that then they brought in the electric cars and they are so boring! It’s kool but 80% when u go to see them live or on tv is the engine noise and redline bouncing and the smell of race gas! Electric takes away all that and makes it like watching a more risky Rc car race!
Maybe coz it's not a 450 in a 450 class simple😂
It's absolutely infuriating that laws are being made to force EVs on us
It's absolutely infuriating that hybrids are being mandated in major motorsports(F1, Prototypes, IndyCar) via the rules
It's absolutely infuriating that the Stark/EVs have been preemptively banned in Enduro
PLEASE lets just let technology evolve *organically* FFS. If they're "better" for dirt bikes, then so be it. If hybrids are "better" for Prototypes, then let the factories CHOOSE to develop hybrid powertrains to beat conventional drivetrains straight up. If they *aren't* the "better" choice in F1, then they shouldn't be there at all. Hell, if 2-strokes are better, then they SHOULD be dominating; if they aren't, then they'll die out naturally.
That'll never happen now though, somehow propulsion technology has become a political topic🙄
I love how much butthurt Tesla and Stark have caused amongst the ice loving knuckle draggers! 😂
Embrace it shit changes I still hold on to 2 stroke like it’s my baby bottle I get on a fourstroke And I’m blown away by how easy it is but 2 smoker will always be king in my eyes . Skip a gen and electric is king
Fim finally doing something right for once.
Embrace change or get left behind. Literally
What are they doing right other than discouraging small manufacturers from competing with the big ones?
@@yoda68zac11 lol if that's what we are changing to im 100% fine with staying behind and keeping what I got.
@yoda68zac11 There is change then there is forced removal of peoples beloved pastimes.
Once these become the norm it will be very easy to ban our bikes based on the climate tripe.
@@danielmarquis434 keeping MX from having a downfall
In others words..Politics
You can't stop technology. The Stark is an iPhone, and people want to keep their flip phone. The first time a pro rider wins a race by a minute on a Stark, other riders will HAVE to get on board to stay competitive.
It is a different category of racing. There are reasons why some prefer the two strokes vs four strokes.
The two stroke preference is not backwards. It is just a preference over four strokes.
Electric is actually a much more radical departure and the spectacle will be different. People have different tastes.
Try changing the basket ball, or hoop heights and diameters. Some may lose interest in the new basketball game. Taste. Preference. Different spectacle.
Electric is the future but we’re still a decade away from them competing. Enjoy gas racing while it’s still around!
Some tech should be carefully controlled....because it is so disruptive and or dangerous. Gas is a cheap way for poor people in poor countries to do work and survive....but I guess they don't matter...it's the poor people on the sunny beaches in their beach houses that are in danger of rising oceans that we need to save😂
It will make Supercross suck ass! Attendance will drop by 1/3

Just do an open class and let them ride whatever the hell they want….
Electric bikes in racing mx ,I'd be done watching and going to events
Have to get rid of old timers at some point
As soon as Honda releases their crE I guarantee electric bikes will be allowed
valves dont spin
Exactly what he said!!!!
You reckon they will block Stark when Yamaha, KTM and Honda roll out their full electric bikes?
I think not!🤣
We definitely need a new class for electric bikes. And this class should be limited in energy per race and in that have adjust rider experience and safety.
No organizer should ever let gas bikes compete directly against electric bikes, it would destroy the sport.
Ban all electric bikes including MTB's
Yeah, some real logic there😂😂🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂
Thx Stark, don ' t Care about industry ,money,rules...wait for mine
I don't think you can say McGrath was crap and motocross. He did win a championship in it.....
Buy a Stark before Stark gets bought.
If a Tesla race team tried to force their way into V8 Supercars or Nascar or similar….. saying, "but we just want to race", we've spent multi multi millions producing a product very few can actually afford… "because we just wanna race" . They'd get told to f**k off and laughed out of town. I can't believe the idea is even contemplated seriously by the dirt bike community. I've got an apple lets just pretend its an orange.
Wtf are you talking about
@@danielmarquis434 The reality. motorsport including mx,sx,enduro etc will die so hard. Its only sound they say "We will be allowed anywhere". Yeah ok, thats all well and good. But why dont you remove music from the night clubs then. No more noise complaints there either. F that. Look at Formula E. Sure, cool thing. You could even argue the racing is better than in F1. But god damn, its boring after 5min.
The sound of engines is such a big part of motorsport that for many its simple not the same thing anymore. Its not only about going fast at the timewatch, its the whole experiance.
@@hannesleijowall5727 you don’t believe in the sport then. I race, I do it for adrenaline. I do it for the rush, the danger, the badass nature of the sport. I don’t need sound to make it fun for me. Honestly? If you’re turning away from the sport because of sound and you think it’s boring, then you were never a fan in the first place. Go watch baseball
@@danielmarquis434 we have different views. To say im not a real fan is a bit harsh. I live and breath mx for many years now. If the noise of engines doesnt matter for you, thats cool with me. Im just afraid the sport will die, it will for me and many others.
Watching electric bikes race is the most boring thing ever. There were some racing at a recent arenacross event. They played circus music over the PA just to make it halfway entertaining!
Been riding river bottoms and enduro and some mx since i was ten have a pal that has bult to shit surron. And im kinda upset i couldnt train as a kid and got even better 80 mph on this 100lb machine is nuts id xpect any kid to beat me once they learn clutch or stark can race
Hopefully. Why should a POS with a power advantage and electronics advantage be allowed to race against the other bikes?
Thats bummer but tru no other ev is ready honda is working on it..with trey canard
I can see event organisers not wanting to shell out for the safety stuff to put out a lithium fire. I'd like to see them run though.
Why banned in AMA but every were else you can race them !
It’s only because they can’t regulate it… yet 😄
Uk Arenacross has Justin Bogle and Jack Brunell racing Stark Vargs next year
The whole not being able to gear select would be hard to get used to
Why not create a new electric class, and a mixed class.🤷🏼
I hope they keep them banned
Not a fan of evs so it dont really matter. Lol get over it Brandon 🤣
Hopeully.
With the instant and crazy tourque, 60hp stark still gonna smoke a 60hp 450. In my opinion that’s what causes the challenges
....and for quite a while, ICE will be more popular. There is strain appearing in the EV car industry so the sport and consumer need to be careful.
@@1969cmp The auto industry is a completely different situation altogether. They're desperately trying to build a significant amount of market share for EVs because of the insane "2035" laws coming up(banning ICE, mandating EVs). And they're running into the wall that is consumer interest - because, surprise surprise, you can't just force consumers to buy what you want them to buy, especially when they can buy what they want to buy.
ICE won't just go away, people aren't going to just stop liking what they like about ICE powered things. EVs will have their place, hybrids will have their place, ICEs will continue to have their place - outside of draconian actions being taken to eliminate them anyway...
Just have an electric class...
Imagine the silent stadium with these things competing back and forth.
It's like the life and fun is being sucked out of everything piece by piece.
About as interesting as a beyond meat burger ffs.
Youre totally right, Baseball and Football are both dying right now because of the lack of engines in the stadium /s
@DarrenPC Ok bud that's the same thing isn't it? Wtf do you think you actually wrote something clever here?
I absolutely love the E bike races going on in stadiums now. I’m about the true racing not artificial noice. I don’t have to have my kids in earmuffs for hours either
@kurtheidelbach Artificial? Nothing Artificial about the noise of an engine bud.
Which stadium's are holding fully electric races right now?
@@zenduro3332 uh….like every SX stadium race there is 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Have been wanting a mountain bike weight motorcycle for the last 30 years & it is almost about to happen?
got a revvi 18 that is 20kg now !
lt has a 50kg weight limit, but capable of being used by 100kg rider as l have tried it out!
E bike class is open!
Except your mom she is over weight and has to ride C class 😂
People talking about noise closing tracks have a point. But I think alot of of closure has to do with money politics and development.
This is why they should just do classes based on wheel power. The displacement rule for 4 strokes backfired because obviously bigger motors with more power are going to win if the weight is comparable.
Now these electric bikes have no displacement. the only thing they can do is consider power output and weight. Obviously if electric bikes are making 20 to 30% more power at the same weight it will take no time before they beat everyone and the whole sport will be electric because despite what everybody wants to say no one is going to line up on the gate knowing they're going to lose and everyone will want the fastest bike.
Even at the same power to weight, the electric bikes are going to be faster anyways with how much more often the traction control can pull power
The audi in Dakar has a "range extender combustion engine" it is like a series hybrid, where the ic gains electric energy for electric engines... so it has like only a small battery.
Are any of the circuits even ready to accommodate electric bikes. Electric charges, fire protection and safety etc
I doubt it’s the FIM, prob the other manufacturers pressuring them.
Too many issues with running e bikes along side gas (also a few issues with e bikes in general) and none of them have to do with the power or environmental impact, other riders wont be able to hear it, and the lack of gears makes it difficult to control wheelspeed as well as makes whisky throttling a lot more dangerous
Won’t be able to hear it 😂? Are you one of those dudes that cross jump everyone or what. Hold your damn line.
@@danielmarquis434 thats not even a relevant response, go be angry somewhere else
@@pilsnerfamilymotorsports3275there is no relevant response to arguments against the stark. It’s faster, quieter, gets to speed quicker and will absolutely destroy an ice bike. Anyone arguing against it is mad.
@MikeRay1978 Id argue they are useless in a hard enduro or criss country setting do? Have fun putting an e bike trough a hard enduro race
@@bensmones274 you can’t do well in a dump truck doing hard enduro either. That doesn’t make a dump truck bad at construction and doesn’t make a stark Varg bad at almost any other form of dirt biking.
One of the most impressive things about moto is how many things the rider is managing w/ the bike throughout the race. A bike that doesn’t need to be shifted takes a huge -part of that away. No thanks. Race electric bikes in their own class.
I would love to see their own class down the road. Let them give a chance to privateers only or something to introduce them
I see safety issues with a bike that doesn't make noise.
When people go to the race they want the sound and smell.
Lmfao safety. Your joking right
Don't even like electric, but banning something like that is just proof the FIM only wants to fill their pockets. Let me run my 97 2 stroke against a '23, if I get waxed I get waxed. But to tell me you can't "run what you brung" in racing especially at the pro level is ridiculous. If they're that much better than make a separate class and un ban the bike
It’s called “open” for a reason
Well, AMA keep excluding small brands and old bikes with their homologation rule, so it happens everywhere.
Stark are rushing in to racing without any classes to race in. If people just could take their fucking foil hats off and give it a year or two it will be a class for those bikes.
E bikes should not run with regular bikes and when there is enough ebikes sold, there will be classes for them.
@@tumic551 Alta waited so long they went bankrupt.
Well, just like in all other racing, electric needs a separate class.
Why?
Finally an opinion i can agree with.
@danielmarquis434 Because they are different machines meaning they should compete in different classes.
What do you mean why? Not the sharpest tool are you?
100%
Why not allow race the electric with the 450s? They let them kill the 2strokes, now it's their time to make space if there's something faster (and the batteries last a race)
I was talking to a guy this Monday night who is in the middle of this thing with Taddy and the Stark, sounds like the FIM’s concerns revolve around health and safety, they sounded pretty valid concerns to me but nothing that couldn’t be sorted out 👍
😂 the FIM’s concerns are not to get their sponsor’s doors blown off by another manufacturer who doesn’t give them any money. It money. 💰 always has been, always will be.
@@danielmarquis434 who is sponsoring the FIM?
Don’t come here with good arguments and constructive thoughts. This is a place where we light the torches and scream Fuck Fim without really knowing why..
@@tumic551 🤣🤣🤣🤣
If they allowed the Stark to race the World championship in 2024 it wouldn’t be competitive without a decent rider. Gregory Aranda nearly signed to race it but changed his mind because he’s faster on a 450 when the Stark is set to the allowed 60hp setting.
Problem is!! No gearbox and no displacement no combustion! So the Stark is going to have to have its own class for Motocross and Supercross! Because if you go by power output alone, this will open the floodgates for privateers on bigbore 2strokes to race also.....can't see that happening!
Is it that the factories don't want to go there too? I was tuned out for the change to 4stroke & associated politics.
Big bore 2stroke and Varg racing would be ok with me!
Racing is for the fans. I think most would agree that Electric bikes are cool but from a fan experience, I want to hear the sounds. Its part of the experience. I dont know that supercross would have the same experience for me in person with all electric.
They will never be as cool to watch as 2 strokes but Nitrocross is electric and it's not that bad. I think they need to add a new class for electric. Lack of sound can be a good thing in some situations. We could put a track almost anywhere in the world and race anytime of the day or night with almost zero sound. Biggest downside to no sound is not being able to hear where the competition is on track when they are behind you and about to pass.
I agree. I dont care if they race. I just dont want a full replacement of gas. The sound, for me, is a major part of the experience. I ride a 4 stroke and love it when im on the track and someone on a 2Smoke is hauling ass. Nothing like the sound when someone is on the pipe going full out!@@badgermetal
Electric power in motorsports isn't fair across the board. Automatic, no clutch, instant power. I don't even consider the stark a dirt bike.
Can it run a 35 minute moto?
We have Gotland grand national here where I live. Its a huge GNCC type event. 3000+riders. There where a couple of em this year. They lasted a bit over 1hours they say. And thats no pros riding them. So a mxgp/ama pro running on a heavy sandtrack, I highly doubt it.
6:06 DUDE great points about hearing the sounds
Jase,,, can't believe you went full nerd with a ssd when you got a mtb legend who would of spent so much time spinning a wheel while changing it bahahha much love
The stark is 259 pound jase...or 269 pound ...260 at least....but u dont have rotating mass effect
As far as I can tell they mean no engine internals flying around. Obviously wheel and tires are still spinning but...
If they have a clutch and gearbox similar to every other bike I think it would be ok.
Kyle looks and speek soo calm and mellow :D

@@ZATCEPChannel Well i guess Kyle hadnt other option then speak in that sytuation :D
Is it a weight thing? Or are they comparable in weight?
FIM want to lose their money for jam? Fine by me.
AMA did something right for once. Don’t ruin motocross.
People getting their panties in a wad over these electric bikes is more entertaining than racing itself. Its not an agenda, its just a company doing badass shit. I think electric should be in its own class.
Kyle?! Fk yea!
I think they just got approved by FIM to race in Australia right? Gonna be so cool if that's true!
Gay af
I can see the OG bike companies putting the kabosh on the starks. Or an electric only class.
18 days!
They're great bikes but it evan worst than when 450 were allowed to race against 250 2strokes. It ruins excitement of sport. Whoever allowed that must love 4strokes because he couldn't handle 2bangas. They stopped 500cc 2strokes because they reckoned it was too fast and dangerous then they say let's double capacity too be fair against 2strokes which was bullsh... now let's make 80hp electric bike that is like a mountain bike in way it operates. Need own class. Shop I work at sells them and after riding it's a joke how powerful and easy they are. There'll be heaps more bad accidents as you don't need any skills to jump on and go flatout. Most learners would be stalling or bogging gears. On these it's jump on a go.
I think the biggest issue will be that the Stark doesn't have gears giving a definite advantage to the rider. It minimizes rider error without having the talent
And better traction control, and smoother power delivery. But like doesn't it all come down to body position and technique then which is already how the best get to the front.
Ive always wondered why electric motorcycle manufacturers resist the concept of including a manual clutch. A spinning mass that takes on full load on clutch dump has the advantage of foresight and expectation.
Lol that’s easy. Because it’s not necessary. Why would you take a fantastic thing and add something that isn’t necessary, requires maintenance and will fail? It’s literally not needed. In an electric motor the torque is available instantly so there’s no benefit of a mass spinning up early.
I guess they just should do completely own series for those electric bikes and for people who want to ride like that without shifting gears or using a clutch. Its just too different machine to be competing in the same class in my opinion.
There aren't any major OEMs to throw money at them to do so. This is the FIM, they don't care about piddly little startups, no matter how game changing they can be(or maybe especially because they can be...).
it's likely that the racing landscape will continue to adapt to accommodate different power sources while maintaining fairness in competition.
FIM is a business. They did a Stark only simulation race and realized the consumer product was trash. It’s that simple.
Can you expand?
