If you didn’t have an iPad Pro next to the air over time you wouldn’t know the difference. I have an air and am totally fine with it. This feels like an advert for iPad Pro.
I had the pro and moved to the mini and I don’t notice the difference outside of no pro motion but you get used to it after like a day. I’ll practicality and portability over whatever the pro has to offer at this point
How....are you accidentally pressing the touch ID button? You only have to rest your finger on it....this really feels like you're stretching to find differences worth anything even close to $400.
I’m a STEM student and thinking about getting an ipad to take notes. M2 13’ air seems like the most logical decision since I’m pairing it with an M3 pro MBP.
I bought the M4 iPad Pro 11 and returned it for the M2 iPad Air 11. yeah, it’s a nice screen, but functionally, they feel exactly the same and I’m happier with the $500-700. iPadOS won’t even let you take full advantage of the M4 hardware - Even if you’re somehow pushing the iPad ‘to the max’ with video editing, a similarly priced MacBook Air will perform way better for exports and file management with just the M3, and you get all the advantages of running macOS. This is for people who want to spend $1000 on an overpowered Netflix machine that feels exactly the same as the last five years of iPad releases. If you really want pro-motion, or maybe even the 13in mini LED, Just buy a used M1 or M2 iPad Pro and it’ll feel exactly the same. The only advantage I see on the new pros versus the old is the updated pen, but that market has to be so tiny for anyone that would actually take advantage of the new pen features it’s probably not worth it otherwise.
I love my m2 air and I can’t imagine spending 400$ extra for the pro.everything max mentions is actually never noticeable to the average user. Pro motion the Touch ID all that stuff is so minor it’s just for early adopters or people with extra money to spend.
@@_Meme_lord_1 I’m a video editor so I do use my tools for animating and creating content but I don’t use my iPad for video editing. But honestly if you’re trying to use an iPad for animating then the iPad Air isn’t the problem. Get a machine that will do the job. iPad Pro can’t animate. A used M2 Pro MacBook which is probably cheaper than a built up iPad Pro is probably cheaper and would run circles around the M4 iPad Pro.
Advantage for the iPad Air : Touch ID which allows all members of the family to easily unlock the iPad without a code ... Multi users matters for such kind of device, I don't understand why you never mention it in your videos ...
Honestly the only worthy advantage I see with the pro is being a little more future proof but other than that I think the air is a much better value per dollar
Overhyping and too much enthusiasm for “pro” products. Before, this channel was “just info”. Now, … i don’t know: goofy thumbnails, ads in every video, funny justifications for buying new products every year. Come on…
This video reminds me of that guy from 9 to 5 Mac who basically did a video on who the iPad Air was for basically said go and get a refurbished iPad Pro M2 over the air it’s clear he doesn’t like the iPad Air I despise TH-camrs that are out of touch with the average consumer needs because he basically gave bad advice regarding going and buying a refurbished or used iPad Pro M2 when you don’t know what you’re gonna get with an M2 iPad Pro if you’re buying use or refurbished and you can kiss goodbye to AppleCare going that route as well.
The designs are literally the same and the colors have barely any differences - especially with a case. Design is moot. Only reason to get Pro is the screen. 📺
Yes this is just an advertisement to buy the IPad Pro. I have had mine since 2020. I do not think I even need a new iPad yet. Yeah the battery is getting weaker, but why create e-waste when my current iPad does what I need it to do.
37.4 is only 2.2% faster than 36.6! Also, huh, what do you mean you have to reach around the device to activate TouchID? Why not register an additional finger on your left hand?
I went into the store and compared the two. I ended up with the 13 inch Pro. I use my iPad strictly as a tablet so when I saw how thin the Pro was it was a no brainer. Also the screen is amazing. Could I have been happy with the Air too? Yes, but I decided to treat myself. YOLO lol. I’m definitely not upgrading for the next 6 years though 😂
I use my 13" M4 iPad Pro every day and for me the killer feature is the reduced weight. Everything else is nice to have. I had a 12.9" M1 iPad Pro and the only thing that really bugged me and prevented me from using it every day was the weight. The thinness is also nice because it is more enjoyable to hold it in my hand. Unlike my previous device, I now mostly hold it with a single hand.
how are you with PWM? The screen there is simply magnificent, but I come across many reviews about pain in the eyes, fatigue and headaches after using the tablet. I want to buy one for myself, but I am a little worried about the effect on the eyes.
@@applehamster832 I have no such problems whatsoever. I believe you have a two week window where you can return the product so you can try it and return it if that is a problem for you.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 Yes, but the tandem OLED display requires less power and the 3nm M4 is more efficient. So yes, if it was just as heavy as my old one it would last longer, but it last just as long as my previous iPad Pro and I never have any problems with the battery runtime. I certainly don't ever want to go back to a heavier device!
Honestly, 7 of yours are picky and don’t really bother. The screen presentation, the brightness, and especially the speakers are the selling points for the Pro. The others are just add-ons.
it's just an ipad not something new that would do thing any other ipad can't. if you want to save money but the ipad pro m1 or m2 or any one with storage you need and that's it.the ipad won't replace no pc or laptop. it's an amazing product but m4 dosent worth all that money.
Same thing you can say about the M3 Max MBP over the M1 MBA. It’s a faster version that almost no one needs. You can say this about almost every consumer electronics product.
Having already an old keyboard, the new air saves extra money for a keyboard. The speed of the M2s sufficient for most tasks and the memory is the same. For normals, it might be a good deal to take the air.
The face id for me is irritating. The touch id is more discrete and way more professional when using the device in writing groups. Raising the device of the desk all the time is a nuisance and i'm glad as a professional writer Im not forced to use it on a 13inch device. I understand how it is useful for most. For me it's just marketing fluff.
YES! I've long said same thing, i thought i was the only one who has been irritated by the face ID feature. At least half of time it opens the device when im not trying to use it, exposing personal info.
my boy sound like he get commission. change the title to “how to bury the product most people should buy and upsell them” not gonna lie your reasons were ass and your “comparisons” were not actually that. it’s really easy and lazy to tell anyone to buy pro because “it’ll last longer.”
*Trust me guys as a honor of new ipad pro M4 11inch ... I am regreting to buy I recommend you don't buy the pro models if you don't have pre valid reason because for daily uses the face id, 4 speaker, oled, m4 chip don't matter..because ipad os sucks.. even safari, notes app, books app etc hang on ipad pro.. and just 5-10 min of writing on ipad pro screen heat so much that fell the warmth at your palm and you can't write.. If you want to do video editing and pro work go for macbook, if you want for writing, watching content etc go for cheapest ipad 10th.. trust me you won't regret*
If you are willing to go for the used market, I’d suggest picking up an M1 iPad Pro/Air or iPad Air 5th generation. I got an M1 iPad Pro recently, and it still works excellent, and they’re gonna be future proof for a while given that Apple Intelligence will come to the M1 equipped iPads
I have the 13 inch M1 that I use everyday as my main device for work. I didn’t upgrade to the M4 because I’m not limited by the hardware, I’m limited by the software. Plus, I’d have to pay $2,000 for the iPad plus another $600 in accessories. Maybe next upgrade in 18 months or so. 😢
Just upgrade from my Gen 2 iPP 12.9 to the M1 iPP 12.9. Really a great improvement! Love the mini-LED display and the more compact size. This thing cost me about half the money of the M4 iPP! The difference to the M4 compare to the Gen 2 is minimal....(and the M1 iPP is so much better than the M2 iPad Air!)
I bought an iPad Pro 13-inch M4 along with the new Magic Keyboard. I’m noticing an issue with the Trackpad, and I’m not sure if it’s a software or hardware problem. The issue is that sometimes the swipe to the right and left doesn’t work on the home screen, and sometimes it works to the right but not to the left. Also, the right-click doesn’t bring up the menu that usually appears with a right-click. This problem also occurs with the Magic Mouse specifically with this device, but the Magic Mouse works perfectly with other devices! Additionally, I’m unable to left-click and drag using the Magic Keyboard Trackpad. Note: If I detach the iPad from the keyboard and then reattach it, the problem disappears but comes back when I turn off the screen. Sometimes I turn on the screen, and there’s no issue! There’s no consistent pattern! I’ve found many people online who have the same problem, but not a single TH-camr has talked about it?? Is this a software or hardware problem? Also swiping right or left inside the apps like Photo app does not work unless I swipe once with my finger on the screen, it starts working after doing this !!
I have the new M4 13 inch iPad Pro, and all the features mentioned in this video including Apple Pencil features are reasons why I absolutely love the upgrade. I came from the 12.9 M2 iPad Pro with magic keyboard and I'm loving the upgrade.
how are you with PWM? The screen there is simply magnificent, but I come across many reviews about pain in the eyes, fatigue and headaches after using the tablet. I want to buy one for myself, but I am a little worried about the effect on the eyes.
@@applehamster832I’m also hear about pwm 😞it was really hard to choose but I was ordered 13 pro so when he will come I will write if my eyes will hurt using him because I’m using LCD only now Also I’m worried about burn in 💀
I work at an Apple Premium Reseller in Mexico.. and your videos are much better than the Apple ones, I mean, the videos from the App where we learn about their products. Great videos man 👍
Honestly, I had the iPad Pro for school two generations ago and immediately when I got out, I switched to the M1 iPad Air because now that I wasn’t in school, I didn’t need the 12.9 inch display and also I was not using any of the pro features anymore. All I wanted was an iPad to surf the web with play some games and watch TH-cam on. At that point, I thought the air was the best fit. None of these features that he is complaining about. Are that big of a deal. Yes I do miss Face ID sometimes because it was so much quicker but touch ID is not bad either.
I cannot stress how much of a gamechanger the 1000nits SDR brightness is for me. No longer does my iPad lose to Ceiling Office lights when watching content.
Point 1 - bs, point 2 - bs, point 3 - bs, point 4 - bs, point 5 - bs for such a small display… point 6 - bs - difference is negligible, point 7 - bs , playing games on iPad? Stupid idea. and I’m iPad Pro user and an artist. I’d go for 13” iPad Air hands down. Actually all points are bs. Get the Air.
I want to upgrade my 2018 11 iPad Pro. Using it for watching videos and web browsing, learning from Udemy courses, and note taking. Which iPad should I get between M4 11 iPad Pro, M2 11 iPad Air, and the upcoming iPad Mini 7?
M4 11 iPad Pro. The drop in refresh rate might bug you but if not then the M2 11 Air should be ok. I also have the Mini 6 and it's way too small and cumbersome for longer writing sessions.
For the tasks you list, the m2 ipad air is plenty enough, you can use it for these tasks for years. If you can find a m2 ipad pro in good condition at a good price, it is also worth considering.
I pad air is more than enough for about 95% of people, all these extra features are not worth the extra price . I might as well get a MacBook for less than the ipad pro.
Random tech rant warning - Baffles me it has so many general use consumers argue against a device targeted at more power users. I edit on my iPad and animate due to the pencil and my personal preference. If you can’t tell the difference between the two then the pro is NOT for you! Rant over lol😂 Great review and breakdown
Go to the Air, the pro don't worth the money only for the the perfumery. I use an Air 11" for professional 3D work, draw, gaming, design and is a BEAST of device. The M2 chip is even more powerful than my M1 14" MacBook Pro.
I have the 11-inch iPad Pro 2018, I also have the Magic Keyboard and the Folio Keyboard. I prefer the Folio Keyboard because it makes the iPad 11-inch Pro lighter and I can fold it to the flat position. Do you know if the new 11-inch iPad Pro has a Folio Keyboard available somewhere?
I have three iPads and will probably dump two: the Air M2 11" and the Mini 6 wifi+cellular. Reason? iPads have always been, are, and will be specialized machines, and my 7-year-old Pro 12.9 2nd can do the special tasks I need: read sheet music, and occasionally edit photos. For note-taking, I like my Kindle Scribe much better for its quiet, eyestrain-free screen and great pencil feel.
Touch ID was a pain! And yes I did multiple fingers with both hands. It was a deal breaker and the pro Face ID is worth the upgrade alone. And AI generation for creation is so much better on iPad Pro. The air was choppy and slower.
Thank you for this very informatifve video. As expected it was well presented and provided a lot of useful information. I originally intended to purchase the Air. Your point of having to upgrade the Air to the next level of storage started closing the price gap between the Air and Pro. After seeing the display differences and the processing power of the new Pro my decision was was changed. I purchased the 11" Pro and have no regrets.
Actual important differences-for those who need those functions-are more (although still not enough) professional color management function in iPadOS and thunderbolt through USB-C for the Pro. If you’re a graphic artist, those functions are a must. Although… On the other hand… then the iPad-Pro or not-isn’t enough… you need a computer.
Guys who bought an iPad Pro m4, how are you with PWM? The screen there is simply magnificent, but I come across many reviews about pain in the eyes, fatigue and headaches after using the tablet. I want to buy one for myself, but I am a little worried about the effect on the eyes
I’m happy with my IPad Pro M4 11. But with IPadOS, I do not need the keyboard…. I use my iPad as a tablet and my Mac as a laptop. iPad Air still a great choice, it is much powerful than my previous iPad Pro.
Why reach around with your right finger to unlock it. Can't you register more than one finger that seems to be a made-up complaint. Most people out here are consumers rather than creators, so why spend 300 more to flex an Ipad with the same amount of RAM as the air. Let me put this into perspective for you a little better. For gamers like me, for example, I'd prefer a low resolution "1080p or 1440p" monitor to gain maximum frames in games with mid range hardware. I don't care how pretty the graphics look as long as it gets the job done with performance. The M2 in a tablet form factor is already counterproductive because if you were able to increase RAM, then the OS would operate much faster than selling a more powerful chip that is nerfed anyway. All in all, I feel like videos like this are made to support consumerism and gimmicks. The ipad is a limited device that isn't open sourced. It's essentially a device that can be remotely bricked by its true owner. I would use it for procreate and make stencils for physical art. That way, I save money on printer ink since it would print outlines of my references. The display has a P3 wide color like the pro, so colors will be fine. I don't care if the screen is 60hz because drawing hand speed doesn't need 120. Literilly was in walmart yesterday playing on procreate and thought why do people complain about every bread crumb and pixel. Another reason I'd use it is for E books since they're cheaper to buy. Even though I prefer physical everything, it's nice to get them for much cheaper to read on a small tablet. Just a side note. Taking pictures with a tablet is awkward. I had a M1 ipad pro and it isn't all that great I'd rather use my Galaxy S23+ to take all my pictures, which are mostly references for artwork to use on procreate, and send them to my iPad by email or download from my cloud on Google. I understand people have disposable money and want the most expensive thing but if my iPad gets destroyed, I'd feel good knowing I can easily replace it, and it didn't cost a limb to get it.
Question: I have a Macbook Air that I use for office work, data entry and documents, not much editing anymore or design. I am thinking about getting an Ipad for when I travel so I'm not carrying my laptop around with me in case it were to get stolen. I might be worrying too much here, but I dont back it up as often as I should. I want to be able to do some of the main tasks I do on my Macbook air, mainly with using Microsoft Office. I figure I can put the folders I need to access on google drive in case I need to work or access a document while traveling that is saved on my laptop. I'm curious how it is using the Ipad in general for these types of tasks and then if the Air or Pro would be best bc of price. I assume the Air is sufficient but I have never experienced using Microsoft office on an Ipad so want to make sure i"m not going to be annoyed with this plan after spending the money. Thanks for any advice here.
not listed: buying a brand new or out of box but perfect condition iPad Pro 4th generation, which is cheaper than the current iPad Air at the baseline 256gb storage, has the better display, better GPU, you name it.
The Pro is worth the extra money. That said, as for "performance," you can do pretty much all the same stuff on the Pro as on anything else. I know this because I own an iPad Pro M4 and an iPhone SE 3 (lol, A14 chip). I am constantly going back and forth for my art stuff (3D, music making, etc.), and it's pretty much the same thing. The iPhone SE 3 does lag and heat up a bit, but at the end of the day, it's able to handle some of the workload. The big difference is the freaking screen. The Pro screen at 120Hz is incredible. You really feel the difference, especially if you are using the Pencil. If you are planning on getting one for drawing, save up the money or do Uber for a couple of weeks or something on the side to get the extra cash because IT IS WORTH IT. The smaller size is a dumb extra because there is NO WAY you aren't throwing that in some cheap case from Amazon, lol. Both are going to feel just as thin, I think, once the cases are on. The Pro is a luxury worth having. If your parents or someone got you the Air, don't get angry-it's the same thing (just not as luxurious). The Pro is like wiping your butt with three-ply toilet paper while classical music is playing. The Air is like two-ply with classic rock radio on... at the bus station, lol. Think about it... you are going to own this thing for ten years. If you knew you were going to be on a flight for ten years, wouldn’t you want to be in first class? Sure, if it's for a small amount of time, who cares? But why buy the lesser model if you are in it for the long haul? If you ever want to sell it, you'll be fine-AppleCare protects the damn thing. I dunno, get the nicer one-you'll love it. I WILL SAY, the OLED screen is a bit "too nice," as reading on it is kind of crazy. The Books app on iPad DOES NOT invert the colors on PDFs, so at 1 am your eyes are going to dry out reading white paper PDFs, lol. There is no other PDF program that can do this either without giving them your email address, etc. Super lame. If you are gonna grandma this thing, get the air, if you are an artist get the pro!
I really couldn’t justify spending the $1,000 on the iPad Pro. Maybe another time but trying to figure out which to buy was a nightmare. I went with the iPad Air M2 😅
I am v happy with an old Mac mini and new iPad Pro M4 - desk based and portable. No need for MacBook any longer. The ability to have touch screen and portable 5G in iPad Pro is much better than MacBook alternative for my needs
If you need Pro and have money, you wouldn’t be watching such episode, you already know Pro is the one for you. If you wonder which is better for you, that proves you don’t need Pro. Even if it were 2100 or 2015, you would never hear “Air is better than Pro” when one is comparing between two sitting next to each other. We just have access to buy the pro-sumer model most of us can’t make full use of, it doesn’t mean you always have to reach that out.
Great comparison between the 2, unfortunately I still have my M1 iPad Air which is doing great. My only regret is in not buying the MacBook air M1 and the iPad mini 6 instead. I thought i would be happy with the bigger iPad with the magic keyboard, but I don't like trying to do computer tasks on the ipad/keyboard combo. Im thinking that the M4 MacBook pro and the new iPad mini (if it ever comes out) will be the sweet spot for me, especially if it is available with mobile data. I love the 8" screen size of the mini because it fits in any travel/portability situation. It is also just big enough to do quick emails and edit some photos on the fly. I would also love a clamshell case with a swipe style mini keyboard. The funny thing is that I really like my M1 iPad Air, but I don't travel with it as much as my (older,) mini. The time to update is coming soon.
I agree on most of the arguments except speakers’s quality on the m4 11”. The sound is muffled and seriously lacks bass. In addition, because of the reduced thickness, there are quite a few vibrations on the screen when you increase the volume. I haven't compared it to the iPad Air, but for audiophiles I would say that the argument of the 4 speakers doesn't hold water.
I haven’t currently got an iPad and am really leaning towards the Pro but i’ll be mainly using it for games and media consumption. What iPad would you recommend??
how are you with PWM? The screen there is simply magnificent, but I come across many reviews about pain in the eyes, fatigue and headaches after using the tablet. I want to buy one for myself, but I am a little worried about the effect on the eyes.
is it waterproof? my water bottle leaked in my bag and my ipad is all weird now some people say it’s water resistant, some say it isnt does anyone know for sure? cause i got to take it to apple but i dont know if they will do it for free
Another review summed it like this. The Air does 99% of what the Pro does for almost all users. The biggest tech difference is the screen and its underlying features
I bought the M4 Pro and the Magic Keyboard. I will keep this thing for at least 4 years. For the first time I got 1 TB, yeah it is expensive, but I think it is future proof for at least 4 years. No regrets after one month.

Nothing against this gentleman, but this is a rather “in your face” advertisement. Very disappointed in TH-cam passing this as a legit professional presentation. The funny thing is that ads are also running to interrupt the ad itself!!!!
I’d rather see a M2 iPad Pro vs M4 iPad Pro video. Considering you can get more “pro” features and performance from the M2 Pro than the Air. Plus on the used market the M2 pro now can be had for around $600 starting.
Hi A much more fair comparison would be M2 iPad Pro vs M2 iPad Air as they are more or less at the same price The M4 iPad Pro is almost twice the price of the Air.
just wanna know what to do if my ipad pro m4 (13’) battery goes down faster , i mean in 20 min 5% is lost, no background apps open, brightness 50% power mode on i follows all the three steps mentioned above , then too my ipad pro drains battery 5% in 20 min which is not satisfying!! i only make notes in my tab and when power mode is off , at 50% brightness , 1% battery drains at every 3 min pls do help and give your suggestions pls help
Interesting. I thought it would be a big difference in price. The scrolling and brightness is worth it for me. Have you ever needed a screen protector on any of your iPads? For some reason I get only 7% off with link. 929
Comparing the specs of a Pro vs Air is just ridiculous. The comparison should’ve been about best bang for buck. If it’s still the Pro, then fine. But spec for spec is obvious.
Thank you! Really useful to watch, and has helped me make the decision to opt for the Pro model, where I was erring toward the cheaper Air before viewing. Love the content of your channel!
The only differences that truly matter to me was the OLED display and 120 Hz ProMotion that’s it and that’s not worth the extra $400 for me maybe if I was an actual pro user that stuff would matter but it doesn’t because the iPad Air M2 is essentially an iPad Pro just without 120 Hz.
These 1000 nits still looks kinda dim outside :(. My budget Osee monitor has 1500 :D I wonder if this dual OLED suffers from all OLED cons (especially burned out pixel)?
“Mr. Fancy Pants” - LOL, I love that! 😂 I will definitely be using that with someone at the first opportunity I find! It makes a point, while doing so in a way that can’t help but elicit a smile, instead of offense. 👏👏👏

Advantage for the iPad Air : Touch ID which allows all members of the family to easily unlock the iPad without a code ... Multi users matters for such kind of device, I don't understand why you never mention it in your videos ...
You can record two faces, btw. Yes you can record five fingers, but two faces is pretty good.
@@techinrl9869 I have 3 kids ... :-)
Honestly the only worthy advantage I see with the pro is being a little more future proof but other than that I think the air is a much better value per dollar
💯
Overhyping and too much enthusiasm for “pro” products. Before, this channel was “just info”. Now, … i don’t know: goofy thumbnails, ads in every video, funny justifications for buying new products every year. Come on…
This video reminds me of that guy from 9 to 5 Mac who basically did a video on who the iPad Air was for basically said go and get a refurbished iPad Pro M2 over the air it’s clear he doesn’t like the iPad Air I despise TH-camrs that are out of touch with the average consumer needs because he basically gave bad advice regarding going and buying a refurbished or used iPad Pro M2 when you don’t know what you’re gonna get with an M2 iPad Pro if you’re buying use or refurbished and you can kiss goodbye to AppleCare going that route as well.
i don't have any ads on any YT videos bro. 😅✌️
Exactly my though process and if you turn on optimized battery and only let it charge to 80% the thing will last 10 years investment for sure
Whoever approved that speaker comparison to go live on this video needs to question their judgement lol
Seriously! I was sitting here like “You can really… hear the difference?”
@@growupjeff3287they mistakenly compared two iPad Pro instead of the Air😂
@@growupjeff3287 you can with monitoring speakers/cans. the pro speakers have more depths.
Yeah, but that reduced weight comes at the cost of Battery Life on the iPad Pro.
I got M2 pro 12.9 for $650, upgraded from m1 ipad pro 11 inch
I got my 11 m4 iPad Pro for $230
Ahahaha where you get it?
I bought an iPad Pro in 2018 and it’s not better than a regular iPad. I’ll get the Air M2.
I got an M1 iPad Pro and it is still kicking ass for what I do on my iPad it’s perfect for me
*Trust me guys as a honor of new ipad pro M4 11inch ...
Note:
If I detach the iPad from the keyboard and then reattach it, the problem disappears but comes back when I turn off the screen.
The only thing, I miss with my M4 Pro … is colors! I really wish, I could have gotten the Pro in a nice green or blue.
I have the new M4 13 inch iPad Pro, and all the features mentioned in this video including Apple Pencil features are reasons why I absolutely love the upgrade. I came from the 12.9 M2 iPad Pro with magic keyboard and I'm loving the upgrade.

I just got the iPad Air m2 13” and it’s not bad at all
Heating issue?
Honestly, I had the iPad Pro for school two generations ago and immediately when I got out, I switched to the M1 iPad Air because now that I wasn’t in school, I didn’t need the 12.9 inch display and also I was not using any of the pro features anymore. All I wanted was an iPad to surf the web with play some games and watch TH-cam on. At that point, I thought the air was the best fit. None of these features that he is complaining about. Are that big of a deal. Yes I do miss Face ID sometimes because it was so much quicker but touch ID is not bad either.
Which is why the M2 iPad Air is selling more than the Pro
I was barely able to get my hands on the new iPad Air
M4 11 inch IPad Pro for future updates if you have enough money !
If you can find a m2 ipad pro in good condition at a good price, it is also worth considering.

agree
Random tech rant warning - Baffles me it has so many general use consumers argue against a device targeted at more power users. I edit on my iPad and animate due to the pencil and my personal preference. If you can’t tell the difference between the two then the pro is NOT for you! Rant over lol😂
Great review and breakdown
Go to the Air, the pro don't worth the money only for the the perfumery. I use an Air 11" for professional 3D work, draw, gaming, design and is a BEAST of device. The M2 chip is even more powerful than my M1 14" MacBook Pro.
You mentioned that the Pro last longer than the Air, while I am still using the iPad Air 2 that came out almost a decade ago
For me, I prefer the IPad Pro over the IPad Air mainly for the Face ID and ProMotion……convenience is everything for me since I’m a tech guy
I'm afraid you're detached from reality...
The year will be 2059 and this guy will show the same 2 songs for speaker comparisons
37.4 vs 36.6 is NOT 40% faster bud.
Touch ID would be so much better on the phone. It’s one of the few things I miss about my Samsung.
Touch ID was a pain! And yes I did multiple fingers with both hands. It was a deal breaker and the pro Face ID is worth the upgrade alone. And AI generation for creation is so much better on iPad Pro. The air was choppy and slower.
Is this an advert for the Pro?
If i run full hd video in both
Will I notice any difference
Thank you for this very informatifve video. As expected it was well presented and provided a lot of useful information. I originally intended to purchase the Air. Your point of having to upgrade the Air to the next level of storage started closing the price gap between the Air and Pro. After seeing the display differences and the processing power of the new Pro my decision was was changed. I purchased the 11" Pro and have no regrets.
I prefer the Touch ID, Face ID fails too often…you have to be lined up with the camera in lit environments…
I want to buy one for myself, but I am a little worried about the effect on the eyes
go for air m2 bro just got it yesterday, its amazing to be honest smooth. And moreover you will save a lot
I’m happy with my IPad Pro M4 11.
But with IPadOS, I do not need the keyboard….
I use my iPad as a tablet and my Mac as a laptop.
iPad Air still a great choice, it is much powerful than my previous iPad Pro.
I have a iPad 7th gen and it’s getting laggy which iPad should I get?
Was already happy with my ipad mini 5 so ipad air was already a massive upgrade
In short, I want to buy a tablet for graphics, so which is better, the Air or the Pro? And what is the difference? I didn't understand.
get a 🧠
Why reach around with your right finger to unlock it.
Super lame.
If you are gonna grandma this thing, get the air, if you are an artist get the pro!
what do you mean the device closes when you have to use touch id. you just have to touch it not press it u know
I really couldn’t justify spending the $1,000 on the iPad Pro.
I bought the iPad Pro M4 11 inch 256 gig with cellular connection and I’m very happy with it and it should last me at least 5/6 years 😁😁

Another review summed it like this. The Air does 99% of what the Pro does for almost all users. The biggest tech difference is the screen and its underlying features

Why don't you upload video in 4k 60fps. Your video is only limited to 2160p. Not showing 60fps.
I bought the M4 Pro and the Magic Keyboard. I will keep this thing for at least 4 years. For the first time I got 1 TB, yeah it is expensive, but I think it is future proof for at least 4 years. No regrets after one month.

I’d rather see a M2 iPad Pro vs M4 iPad Pro video. Considering you can get more “pro” features and performance from the M2 Pro than the Air. Plus on the used market the M2 pro now can be had for around $600 starting.
All reviews except this one have said the only key difference is the display. Otherwise the M2 Air is as good for 95% of likely users.

How much the display difference shows in a SDR video is insane
Comparing the specs of a Pro vs Air is just ridiculous. The comparison should’ve been about best bang for buck. If it’s still the Pro, then fine. But spec for spec is obvious.
Where you find the iPad Pro wallpaper?
I think the OLED screen and the weight is well worth the price of the Pro.
both still crippled by iPadOS
These 1000 nits still looks kinda dim outside :(. My budget Osee monitor has 1500 :D
I wonder if this dual OLED suffers from all OLED cons (especially burned out pixel)?
