If you are talking about the example that harry bhai have shown us in the video then the "weight" is the "slope" of the best fit line. If we have two independent variables then the "two weights" that we will obtain are the slopes of the "plane"(best fit plane) with respect to those independent variables. And if we are dealing with many independent variables then the best fit plane will be "hyperplane" but we cannot think of it intuitively.

Once you put all the values in the "E" part, you'll have to double differentiate w.r.t m and b separately. First differentiation will include chain rule and at the second time, equate the expression to zero. Do this with m and b, and then, you can find the values using simple algebra.

Hi! your videos are good and ease to understand. But i have a question harry, What is "WEIGHTS" in our case?
