So your narative about kyungsoo usually ask chen is not valid. the drama production team that makes the OST usually has several singer candidates they will choosed to sing the OST. In addition, agencies often offering their own singers to drama production teams. Chen first ost on IOIL drama probaby because the second option because it's commons strategy to get first OST. And for 100DMP actually drama team choose ksoo to singing their OST. But i think SM can't manage ksoo schedule to recording OST, that's why they ask ksoo if he agree or not to offer that song for other member.
