Depending on where you are going it might be better to just pay overweight for the homeschooling books. I am an expat who lives pretty far away. I wanted to ship family pictures to my home and it was going to cost hundreds compared to the 70 dollars for an overweight suitcase. Maybe get an estimate early and decide after that.
