I'm very much still at the planning stage, I have an unlined, loose style jacket that I'm hoping to cut out later (or maybe tomorrow evening!) and I'd like to make a long sleeved top ready for autumn but I need to choose which pattern from my "collection" :) I've recently had a cull and put some aside for the swaps table but I still have far too many. Welcome back. It good to hear you’re feeling better. Just don’t rush it,particularly if you’re still feeling tired (old nurse here). Gorgeous fabrics. Sometimes I think fabric bans are unrealistic and a bit over rated! So I try and set a limit per month as I seem to have more success with this approach. Hubby still goes grey around the gills when he sees the bank statement though! Can’t wait to see your makes. Have a great week and enjoy your long weekend.
@@susandean4689 It suits a viscose really well but I feel like you probably have to consider fabric pattern to ensure no unfortunate pattern placements 🤣
I just bought the avenir pattern after seeing Andrea from btpd version. They had 30% off this month so rude not too. It was good seeing the couple of versions you tried on. I am busy sewing camp prepping too. Stayed last year and really enjoyed. I was just thinking ..we had a good chat last year about the vloggers we liked watching and now look at you 😊 xxx

I'm currently getting ready to cut out the Avenir. I'm going to make a playsuit length with v short sleeves for my wearable toile. Sam (Sparkle) advised to lengthen the bodice so it blouses over so I'm going to do that even though I have a really short upper body. I'll be interested how yours goes as we're similar in height and size. Glad you're feeling better. (Love to your cute doggy!)

You were wondering what to make with the blue geometric print So Carol, in today's episode, made a cute jumpsuit with very similar fabric. Didn't get pattern number.

I recently bought the Avenir jumpsuit so looking forward to making it up, just got to decide what fabric and finish what I'm working on 😂
