My kids love dill pickle everything and I do mean everything it's weird.. but for me, I think I'd like to try the fourth cup milk and half cup pickle juice. Thanks for the tip!
I have a top tip. Instead of egg wash coat the chicken in mayonnaise (normal full fat version). About 1tsp for 150g of tenders. Mayo is just eggs/oil but it binds to the chicken better holding all the spices. The egg in it also gives a good browning. 1tsp of mayo is less calories than 1tsp of oil so slightly healthier. I use it for all dry spice rubs with chicken tenders in the air fryer instead of oil where the spices drip off.

I want to add some flake coconut to the coating.
Where did you get your oil sprayer ? I have bought several and not finding any that work correctly
Hi Roni, the one I love the most is currently sold out, but it is what has worked good for me since May 2021! I have it listed at AirFryerTools.com!
Lolololol....love watching your videos and your taste testers...
Thank you!
We ate Carl's Jr/ Hardees chicken tenders and they are the best !!!
Looks good
Thanks for watching!
Love the littles unbiased taste tests lol. There was no hiding the taste of the pickle juice.
LOL - it's so funny because she LOVES pickles! But if you watched my video from Feb 2021, she didn't care for the fried pickles in that one either!
What oil sprayer do you use? I bought a small bottle but it just sprays a stream :(
I love my Mistifi oil sprayer. You can snag if from my Amazon page at airfryertools.com
Chick Fil A does not use pickle juice to marinate their chicken. They use a salt and sugar brine. But they do use MSG.
Thanks!
You bet!
Was that a MINI whisker @ 2:23 ❤
Do you think if you sprayed the chicken with peanut oil it would add to the taste? I understand that Chik Fil A fries with peanut oil.
I would love a copycat recipe for their grilled nuggets.
Oh yes... those are my faves! I have it on my list!
Hello how're you doing today hope you and your family are safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
I will make them this week marinating then in yogurt like jaggyy69 advised.
I like this recipe, and agree with y’all a bit too much pickle taste other than that delish! 🤗❤️
Next time I will tone it down with some milk, per the suggestion of another viewer! Thanks Ellen!
There must be something to the pickle juice. This is the 3rd video I’ve seen that includes the juice along with the breading / seasoning, to marinate to mimic Chik Fil A. 🤔
Uhmmmmm uhmmmmm that looks delicius
It is - hope you love it!
Cathy, love your channel, love you. But in the UK your book and postage is £32.00. Postage alone is £13.43. I don’t wish to acquire the ebook. Any chance you can put your beautifully manufactured book onto Amazon? I’ve had a few books from USA, never been that cost before. I really like your format too. But given the choice of 1 book for £32.00 or buying 3 air fryer books at £10 each. No brainier really. Sorry, not trying to be negative. Just a lot if dosh.
Hi Theresa! YES that international shipping is expensive! We are working on getting some books sent to Amazon, but it is still going to be a bit. I'll announce when we have them!

Thank you. I'm also from the UK but can't justify that current postage cost.
We added 1/2 cup of milk to the pickle marinade and my picky eater said it was better and tasted less like pickles.
Awesome! Great tip! Thanks, Laura!
I saw another Chick-fil-A recipe the guy only used pickle juice or soaked it for 20 minutes and he did not taste the pickle juice in it you could try that to see if it works better Jack Frost
I have tried different copycat chic fila recipes and the ones that use little or no pickle juice are pretty good. When I saw how much pickle juice you were using I thought. I hate pickles so you can guess lol
Yum!
Thx for watching!
have you ever made salmon patties from scratch and cooked them in your airfryer? Trying to eat mediterranean for health reasons. T
I have not! But it is on my list!
perfect
I had ingredients to make a chicken pot pie- I’m making this instead❣️
Ha ha - NICE! Hope the fam is happy about it!
@@empoweredcooks they were so good & the sauce was excellent 🙂
