My Daddy used to play this when he was in the UPC church, when I was a little girl. He battled cancer for a few years and about a month before his fast passing last year, I played it outloud during a visit (along with "I'm Going Away" by Hawkins).. and he broke down crying in his home hospital bed (he struggled from Alcoholism which led to body cancer). I went on bended knee and held his hand as he told me that's how he was feeling. This song will forever make me smile and cry at the same time. I love you, Daddy. 5/19/2022

I started crying listening to this i dont know why i just did, God is so good. he has been so good to me and i dont deserve it. about nine months ago my heart collapsed and i while in the hospital then the doctors told my family that i wasnt going to make it and that they should say their goodbyes because it was looking really bad. I was taken by life flight to another hospital to await a heart transplant After a bunch of prayer from my mother my family and friends a doctor said that he had an idea of an operation he could do he said he was sure it would work and my mother had been praying that a doctor would say something like that and she said yes after the operation were the doctor closed a small hole I had in my heart . within a few hours I was breathing on my own and the machines they had keeping me alive were taken off. I have been doing a lot better. I really don't think about it to much like I said I was trying to look up a song by ll cool jay. Then I came across this song and it brought back memories of a church I used to attend and I started thinking about how good God has been to me and I remembered the miracle he did for me and my family.

This song is so special to me because my mother would have me sing this song to her when I was a kid. When my mom passed I specifically requested (or demanded, lol) that this song be sang at her homegoing service. Tears well up in my eyes evertime that I hear this song. However they are tears of joy. I know that my mother is with God. But this rendition is totally awesome. I would love to hear her live.

I serve and sing in an integrated church and we sang this yesterday. All these comments seem to forget that this is worship and not a performance for man's glory but for God only. We are ONE in the body of Christ, not divided by race.
I’m not sure what others meant as I can’t speak for them but I think her performance invited the spirit to the church and by the reaction the congregation felt it as much as she did. I’m no body! and I don’t know anything! - except ...I can’t help but feel God when I hear someone sing like this lady did. We called anointed. 🙂

i was looking for the song going up to cali and then this song popped up im so glad i decided to click it. I started crying listening to this i dont know why i just did, God is so good. he has been so good to me and i dont deserve it. about nine months ago my heart collapsed and i while in the hospital then the doctors told my family that i wasnt going to make it and that they should say their goodbyes because it was looking really bad. I was taken by life flight to another hospital to await a heart transplant After a bunch of prayer from my mother my family and friends a doctor said that he had an idea of an operation he could do he said he was sure it would work and my mother had been praying that a doctor would say something like that and she said yes after the operation were the doctor closed a small hole I had in my heart . within a few hours I was breathing on my own and the machines they had keeping me alive were taken off. I have been doing a lot better.
I really don't think about it to much like I said I was trying to look up a song by ll cool jay. Then I came across this song and it brought back memories of a church I used to attend and I started thinking about how good God has been to me and I remembered the miracle he did for me and my family.
