Dark Shadows - The Lost Episode

Parody spoof of the classic TV soap "Dark Shadows". Dr. Julia Hoffman, feeling betrayed and rejected by her love, vampire Barnabas Collins, finds comfort in the arms of another vampire. Also, "Dark Shadows, the Directors Cut" is included. Part 1 was shot in November 1990 when my friends and I journeyed to Newport, Rhode Island to shoot some videos on the lawn of the majestic Seaview Terrace (known today as The Carey Mansion). Someone forgot the script so I had to quickly create a story and feed the actors their lines from behind the camera. Upon returning home, I found I didn't have enough footage for a cohesive, seamless video. So, I asked Darryl Schaffer to play Jonathan Frid in an arm chair narration to tie the scenes together. Part 2 (DS The Director's Cut) is essentially a collection of outtakes. Darryl didn't have time to dub his voice in some of the scenes where Barnabas is "thinking" so you hear my voice and these scenes are labeled "Rehearsal Footage". I hope you enjoy our efforts.
