Excellent care going on out there. If your dealership is good they will make sure they wipe it down for you after service. Mine shop carefully wipes mine done with Honda Polish every time. Short vertical stem = OK but you can get a 90 deg metal adapter = thread it on/off when checking PSI or adding air then remove it & keep it in tool kit...Your OEM tool kit MIGHT have one...??? .. Not sure if GL1800 comes with one..??? ...MOST OEM tool kits on motorcycles with dual disc front brakes would ....OR use 90 deg air chuck for inflator & 90 deg tire gauge(dial version with flex hose & air bleeder button recommended)
The rain x you have. Please don’t use it your windscreen unless it is the rain x for plastic. If it is the rain x for glass it will ruin your wind shield. I know, i made the same mistake. Had to buy anew windshield.

I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow. Hopefully, it just needs a tire stem.

I'd put a computer in my 2003 alseven 1000 miles.
I had to have sutters to put mine in. It cost $1750. But the bike is running great.
