They just have to either put a strong grappler against Alex, or just force him to heavyweight. Every striker that goes against him, we all know How it's going to end. He's not normal
I think it just goes to show how polished the kickboxers are. Combine that with unreal strength and it’s a winning formula. Also good to have a willing opponent who will trade strikes rather than wrestle you all night.
I see why people saying khalil gave Alex his toughest fight at LHW But you need to understand 3 championship fights in less then a year and being 37 years old, Alex is not going to get better and better from here on, If he had 6 months break he would have ended it within 3 rounds

@@xavierb9061 don't underestimate Alex now. Only one I see troubling him is ankalaev, khamzat might wrestle but he can't stand and bang against Alex as Alex is too big. Gains over 20 to 30 pounds after weight in which is unusually high for a person. Also his built is different
@@bewiththetruthalways5637 youre high s hooler, cool
Pereira has that Final Boss aura, kind of like a Brazilian Isaac Frost
There's been many fighter's claiming the name "hands of stone" but there's truly only one Poatan...
Magomed gonna be scared of stand up and will just shoot like a b....
Ankalaev is almost as tall as Pereira and has power in his hands.
@@mustaquimahmedtanbeer2437Not like Poatan's power tho
If he's smart, He should tbh, Why risk it? Every fighter who has fought Alex says they're gonna beat him on the feet and gets cooked lol Ank should just grappling tf out of him
@@woodmanbeingreasonable lets see. That would be a great matchup.
@mustaquimahmedtanbeer2437 Khalil has tremendous power, look what happened...
"I might lost the fight but won the hearts" ass moment for khalil 🙌🏻
Freak of nature😊
Alex is also a black belt in judo and Jujitsu. He’s a wizard on the ground too . Sky is the limit for this kid !
Khalil earned a lot of respect
Perierra is just MEANT to do this
Much respect to roundtree he truly gave it everything he had.
Great performance from Pereira. Congrats to him and props to Khalil, he was going after it and had his moments in the fight. Showed great heart as well. I'd like to see Pereira vs Ankalaev next. Ankalaev deserves his shot at the title.
you know what izzy is doing right now at the bar
Who did Alex lose to in the UFC?
@@roythousand13who still champion🙄
@@roythousand13 Your just proving his point by asking who alex lost to one time 🤣
Izzy made fun of himself by saying it in his fight pick video a few days go. Think he picked Alex to win.
@@roythousand13
Alex never returned to middleweight because of how draining that weight cutting was. That KO was a fluke... Alex received far heavier punches in LHW and never looked the way he did against Izzy in those two fights.
But Izzy is a great fighter. Too bad him and Alex don't belong to the same weight class. I wish Izzy could put up more muscle so we could get a final rematch at LHW, with both guys at their strongest, but that's not gonna happen.
4 title defenses in 7 months is effin crazy
That tribal black magic is real
New story line there for sure.
Had the shakes watching this fight. Haven’t felt like that in a long time
It seems like Joe’s just glazing but he really isn’t
That was a legit real life Anime fight
He won by jabs today
No it was the body shots at the end that did it really
He did train with Strickland 😂😂
100% Khalil just did not get his head off the center line, I was saying this during the fight, Alex was jabbing Khalil's head off
No he dadnt he wasn’t a bigger man
Literally took his head off in the 4th with a variety of shots.
As mma fans we really need to put some respect on roundtrees name. A true warrior
Peirera is the fighter of 2024 for sure and it would only be a competition against Max if he beats Illia. Gotta appreciate all the entertainment; the UFC gotta pay him much more. Chama🎉🎉🎉
It wouldn't be bigger than Alex's year bro...
Alex has finished 3 title fights this year.
Chama
the last comment about weight had DC going "Damnit"
UFC cheers up all subscribers by making Poatan go down or better yet move up a division and testing himself with the heavier guys
Khalil earned a LOT of respect from UFC/MMA fans at 307
Joe is so in love 😍😂
Khalil is a beast!!!! This dudes life story is so cool he was once 300+ pounds and started to train MMA to lose weight and quickly fell in love with the sport and pursued it professionally!!! He is the true definition of someone who worked their ass off to be where they are.
I don't know why fighter insist on competing against Alex in the stand up gamg. The dude is a world class striker probably the best in the UFC, you'll think the simple answer would be just to take him down and wrestle 🤷🏽
My eyes might be betraying me, but is that blood near Joe's phone?
Such an amazing fight
Man. He is THAT GOOD. 😮❤
Can't wait for Ankalaev vs Alex
You are excited for boring ass Ank or just hate Alex? 😂
Ankalaev will lost to Rackic, so the next fight will be Pereira x Rackic.
@@Soldier_Sean Never said that..that's just obviously the next fight 😅
They just have to either put a strong grappler against Alex, or just force him to heavyweight.
Every striker that goes against him, we all know How it's going to end. He's not normal
Alex is by far the best striker of Ufc of all time no cap
Are u dumb???
I think it just goes to show how polished the kickboxers are. Combine that with unreal strength and it’s a winning formula. Also good to have a willing opponent who will trade strikes rather than wrestle you all night.
I see why people saying khalil gave Alex his toughest fight at LHW
But you need to understand 3 championship fights in less then a year and being 37 years old, Alex is not going to get better and better from here on,
If he had 6 months break he would have ended it within 3 rounds
Honestly, I just think this is further evidence that 205 is the worst it's been in years. Jiri and Hill are full of nothing but excuses after they get starched by Poatan, but the one guy who got an undeserving title shot goes in there fights his heart out. I'm still mad at the UFC for making this fight, but I'll never disrespect Rountree again, he's a real fighter unlike a lot of these clowns at 205.
@bluejay9235 wouldn't say Khalil didn't deserve the shot, he looked like a beast in his last few fights.
@@bluejay9235 Roundtree before this fight won 4 of his last 5 fights by knockout he was lethal coming in.
@@_azurejake Level of competition matters, knocking out bums is one thing, but giving Poatan the fight of his life is a whole nother level, and Rountree really leveled up for this fight, this is what you call not letting an opportunity go to waste if I've ever seen one!
@@bluejay9235 Yeah, I agree with you. After the Ankalaev fight, I don't know what's next for Alex. He might try to get some more championship wins under his name (he might also try to one-up Izzy in defending his belt too 😆). He should also keep improving his ground game until he eventually moves to heavyweight, chasing greatness and GOAT status
You could see the work he’s been doing with Strickland lately he almost used the Philly shell for a second
Tbh ive seen him doing it on Glory before...
Isreal Adensanya sitting in a bar telling everyone he beat him once 😆
Alex dickriders literally cannot see Alex fight and not mention Izzy looool
Joe is the best
Super real humble
Alex vs jon jones savage and best fight in ufc history !!!!!!! 100% ,🔥🔥🔥🔥if you make this hapen im buying the fight pass and all the things the first time !!!!!
A human born and bred to be a warrior does hit different.
I’m starting to think this black magic stuff is real
It's not black magic. Just genetics.
When you train and spent hours and hours everyday at the gym the magic works.
@@GrubKiller436 and years of hardwork
You can't train that power, man. You just can't.
The torque in Alex's shots is crazy. He's git that death touch
Where is chael sonen
😂
Yes. He is amazing. His is focused like a laser beam.🥊
Still insane Izzy was able to knock him out
He has intercourse with animals.
Had to play a trick on him to do it.
I really think it was the cut to 185 that did it. Plus I noticed in the 4th before he got the TKO he would back off for a bit before going in for another combo, unlike the Izzy fight where he overcommitted and got caught. Very clever.
At 185, too dimished, 205 is his division.
Thought Rountree had the chance to do what Adesanya did while Pereira was throwing combos at him but Khalil was just too overwhelmed and hurt
He is very much touched by a warrior of god. Guidance Over Division Unity ❤ Alex is a true warrior
Rountree a dummy for not wrestling
He’s not a wrestler. If he was fatigued from striking, grappling would’ve sped that whole process up. He fought his fight and came up short. Hats off to Khalil, though. Dude is tough as nails and a G for his heart in there
Elevation + he's not a wrestler so doing both would tire him out more. His best shot was striking as crazy as that sounds.
His wrestling is probably even worse than Poatan's, he had much more success doing what he did than trying to change to a style he's not used to.
So he could get tired faster and then get pieced up by Poatan afterwards? Khalil's only way to win was on the feet.
Not everyone’s a high level wrestler or has the cardio to wrestle for 5 rounds
You can tell Alex didn't want to KO Khalil in a bad way. He respected him too much. The body shots were really a way of showing respect where he had to finish the fight but he couldn't do him nasty. You can feel it. There was so much love and respect Alex had for Khalil.
Let,s Go Magomed Ankalaev❤💪
👉👉👉👉👉👉 nível 5 😅😅😅😅
Absolute beating in 4th round. Kudos to Khalil for not crumbling easy.🔥
Dana would never let Alex move to heavyweight if Khalil almost knocked him out imagine what Tom would do to him😂😂😂
Tom is a white boy who cares
R u dmb we already show izzy knocked him out so wdym by khalil almost doing it izzy did it and he was still ready to go up so there's no sense that dana won't allow him going up beacause of khalil.
But Alex could KO Tom, which is why wrestling would most likely be his strategy. Lol Tom isn’t as quick as Khalil
@@SanoManjiro-gx8xq lmao, cutting weight will effect your chin, dude isnt built for 185. clearly.
I didn’t see Khalil come close his best shots that so called dropped Alex I watch Alex over extend n was off balance n got punched at the same moment n didn’t have any effect it was just he was off balance after throwing the kick man chin gone be even better at hw
"Run Danza Kuduro" should be a thing now. After every event Pereira is in he wins, and they play that song. It's become 1 of my favorite things.
