    Me listening to Marie and thinking: she sounds like me, please tell me she has ADHD 😂😅 give me this…hope…the unleash to just ALLOW myself to be moving is something I’m working on right now. Also with the choice: so so true! I am navigating having a partner for a year now who has a 7 year old son and I’m learning that I love and chose them both and so it’s ok not to work allll weekend and not sulk about it and and and there is some beautiful creativity that comes from having some play time and family time over the weekend. Moving all the time but in a different way 😅 Also enjoying being multifaceted (dance?! Yes yes!). Showing up to my day job and being THE BEST customer service agent and enjoying helping people gives me so much more energy to workout on my YT and podcast and prep yoga and menstrual cycle filming aaaand learn more in these areas as I study plus volunteer marketing for a charity. This brings me joy 🧡

    Im 33 years old, and been listening to Marie for like ages but this one felt different! I could relate to her in so many ways, people call me workaholic a lot but really I found out that my work is what truly makes me happy! and lately I have been debating with myself so much about never wanting kids, and getting to hear Marie talk about all of that so naturally and not making it sounds like something bad make me feel so at peace. Thanks so much for this episode ❤

    Everything figured out-outable.. we call it “there’s always a way/ way out.” Or “if there’s a will there’s a way. “ I’m surprised how very few were thought to think this way that she was able to present it with a different name and cash in on that. It’s nice that she did so people can benefit from that. I’ve learned partly from my mom and partly my own experience in life. Because I am a survivor and a problem solver. But some things, you do your best and it doesn’t happen because either they’re not meant to or that it is not the right time.

    I LOVE this interview!! I have never heard of Marie before and she is my new favorite role model:) This podcast feels like one of those things that was placed right into my life exactly when I needed it. I have never listened to an interview where the person went through such a similar evolution and explained her feelings about all of her transitions almost exactly like I do. It feels so encouraging to know that someone so successful was feeling those same things. Thank you so much for this interview Grace and Marie💗

    Great episode ! It’s refreshing to hear Marie speaking with her natural voice and not trying to do a voice fry which has become so commun in women today. As a 39 year-old overachiever and grateful for a great education it’s very difficult to take so many beautiful and driven girls doing voice fry seriously. Food for thought which much love for all of us women to embrace our beautiful voices and improve them but not fry them. It comes out super shallow, uneducated and painful to hear.

    17:00-17:15 I love that Marie mentions that she has ADHD. Her changing jobs and saying "This is going to be the one!" and then the novelty fading away 2 months later and then you feel broken... that is 1000% me and I relate to that as an ADHD'er. This relatability and openness wants me to keep listening and inspires me that I can do something greater ❤

    The affectations in the voice, the hoop earrings on prominent ears exposed by scraped back hair, distract from the message - even making allowances for the superficiality of "influencers".
    But guest Marie is very real with some great content.

      Death isn't a problem

    • @mariammel
      @mariammel 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it is. When you make piece with the fact that it’s going to come at some time. For different people it comes at different times and can leave loved ones in challenging situations. But the attitude is still in our hands. How we think about it, how we talk about it. It’s a choice too. One chooses to stay in grief for the rest of their existence because of someone else’s death and another person chooses to invest in life and maybe making other people’s lives better.
      Please don’t get me wrong. I don’t mean to undervalue any feelings. All I am saying that a lot depends on attitude and attitude can be learned.

    With all due respect, when you're hosting, it's about your guest -- don't talk so much, and no one wants to hear about your stuff... it's just a basic principle.
    Talk about your story in some other place, do an episode about your own story. Of course your guest is friendly but you're still a host.
