They put on an awesome show regardless, and of course, their shows in the upcoming years drew bigger crowds each time in the US.
lol i remember seeing them in Georgia when I was still in high school, i think it was 06??? venue was so tiny. seeing them here back in the day was a weird experience

Man... I've spent 16 years now listening and praising Diru's songs. Damn, their music inspired the person and the musician I am today (mainly their first albums). And, for all these years of glory, I have never, for a single moment or anything, seen Kyo getting interviewed this way and SMILING. Dude, that's HUGE for me. That's the first time I have finally reached and connected to the him as a person like any other. A common man, shy man. I'm getting this video right now and I'll cherish it for the rest of my life.
I was surprised when I watched that one live video when he smiles while performing and even pass his mic to Toshiya (or Die, I can't remember). That never happened before and its weirdly makes me happy and I don't know why.

These guys were the reason I wanted to learn japanese as a kid. I dreamed about talking to them. Nowdays I realize their english is probably good enough for me to just speak english but It'd still be cool to learn Japanese.
First, he's older. Secondly, as I remember he hates being called "cute", not being called Kyo-chan. And even if it's true, that's probably the thing in the past. Kyo seems a lot cooler and chill now.
I shook Kyo's hand back in 2008 oh man I'll never forget that night. I was so starstruck I got lost on the freeway for like an hour trying to get home lol ( I had just gotten my driver's license I think a month before and there was no google maps back then i think)
I was inspired. It took some time to find what I can do in these strange times, but I sew! I am making masks now (usually I was making plush toys and costumes). I've sewn 130+ so far. Yesterday I was tired but wanted to keep going. I turned up 'withering to death' while i was sewing. It all got done! Thank you! :)

Put simply, to me, Die is going to do what he thinks is best for him, the band, and his image. If that just so happens to coincide with someone who already has that look, then by all means. However, what is authentic is what is in his heart!
That's it. I can't be the only one getting surprised about why kyo is in an interview with roland looking at the thumbnail, only to realise is die from the title.
Kyo without make-up looks so much like Jet Li. This makes sense if you think about it, because he kicks just as much ass on stage as Jet Li does on film.
God the interviewer was freaking annoying as hell but really enjoyed seeing Kyo talk and laugh. Although I wish Die would have gotten to talk more I like that he respectfully just let Kyo have most of what little response time there was without getting annoying. Die really seems to have a great spirit ♥️😊
Well it kind of has to be that way because they are known to be very quiet in interviews. If you have seen a lot of diru interviews you will notice how quiet they usually are and the interviewers typically tease them because of it, especially Kyo. I felt this interviewer did a good job actually by taking the lead and getting Kyo to open up occasionally.
The interviewer is talking so much because they are so quiet. While they are known to be quiet in interviews, my issue is, even when they start talking, he cuts them off. The interviewer constantly talking over them is what annoys me more. It's like dude, it's great you're at ease and engaging them, but shut yourself up when they actually do start to talk.

相手が表面的な人ではなく、自分と同じテンションで真面目な話ができる人であったり、敬意を持って接してくれる人にはしっかり受け答えするし、謙虚な態度で接するイメージがあります。
Dieさんはトークも上手ですが、相手を立てて聴く側に回るのも、誰かを前に出す為に控えめに振舞うのも上手ですよね。
