An unrealiable or bad president is something that needs to concern these allied countries and others even more and they will react accordingly in the long term. I simply asked a question for which the answer is obvious. I think you lost track of what I included in my statement. The USA is not perfect, but please don't apply morality in a comparison. The US politicians (generally speaking) only care about one thing....staying in power. Trump is a deal maker. The US gets poor mouthed into making awful trade deals by politicians who are not qualified to make those decisions. Trump is fixing that, and that translates into economic prosperity for US citizens. As far as losing allies, this isn't a popularity contest. Most of them are allies because they want the support of our military against their enemies and that shit is expensive. If I offer you an all expense paid trip around the world, I don't want to hear you bitching because you didn't get to fly first class or stay in 5 star hotels. The problem is....legit journalism isn't as entertaining or fun or sexy or truncated as late night tv. I love Seth....and he provides a service. But don't use that as an excuse to put down professional journalists who work very very hard to bring facts and context to you and me. It's on us to pay attention and seek out good journalism. Just bashing them is lazy and insincere. I know that's in vogue these days....but that's because our culture seems absurdly lazy and insecure as a whole. I give huge props to good journalists. They are utterly important....and without them, our democracy would actually wither away. Turning them into a punching bad solves nothing....and is only a way for intellectually lazy people to feel good about themselves. It's honestly getting quite annoying at this point. These people work hard and serve a vital function. Respect that.

The thing you seem to bring up here, is that it is okay for the USA to intervene in other countries, but not for other countries to criticize them for it. It's not like Americas success rate for interventions was a hundred percent. Yes there definitly where a lot of good excamples where everyone can agree that the USA fought for the democracy and what is good and right, but there were also the supported coup in Chile against a democraticaly elected president Allende, there was the in hindsight stupid support of the Mujahideen in the Soviet war in afghanistan and others. Nobody wants the USA to go back to the old days of the Monroe Doctrine. But we as the world have to look out what happens in the country with the by far highest military spending with a mixed history of moraly right decisions, because it's potentially dangerous, This counts even more for countries that are your allies, because we have to stand together for better or worse. An unrealiable or bad president is something that needs to concern these allied countries and others even more and they will react accordingly in the long term. Trump is destroying the united states reputation all over the world. You might not care about that, but you should because the united states might lose it's allies support and trade partners and that is not good for anybody.
I simply asked a question for which the answer is obvious. I think you lost track of what I included in my statement. The USA is not perfect, but please don't apply morality in a comparison. The US politicians (generally speaking) only care about one thing....staying in power. Trump is a deal maker. The US gets poor mouthed into making awful trade deals by politicians who are not qualified to make those decisions. Trump is fixing that, and that translates into economic prosperity for US citizens. As far as losing allies, this isn't a popularity contest. Most of them are allies because they want the support of our military against their enemies and that shit is expensive. If I offer you an all expense paid trip around the world, I don't want to hear you bitching because you didn't get to fly first class or stay in 5 star hotels. To assert that the President of this country is a "madman who cant spell" is an insult that begs retort. Regardless of what they say here, our allies thank their lucky stars that the US exists.

In the early '80's when America fashioned itself the Cold War champion of the underdogs, they came along and said "you know you want to be a thug". They didn't get much underdog love.
