I installed the thermistor today as to your instructions. Works like a charm. Thanks for your video.

Great minds must think alike, as I just did a fix to my 17+ year old CF50 fridge in a similar, but slightly different way and now TH-cam sends me more fix videos.

Good idea since you can’t get access to the original thermistor location. The weak link in Dometic/Waeco fridges is the thermistor. For the CFX they made it easier to replace. Just did my CFX65.

Going to give this a go. Just need to source a long thermistor

Is this still working? Only reason I ask is because moisture is usually what kills the thermistors.

Yep, still working. I have a spare tucked inside just in case.
A lot of moisture down there a you know. I guess I could zip tie it to the cage if that was an issue.

    Hi
I used it well, but suddenly the power went out, and if I take away the part of the cigar jack, it blinks and seems like the light is coming in for a while, but it doesn't come in
What is the problem? And how should I buy the part to solve the problem?
    60l same brand.
    Many tnx

      Things to check:
Power - does it work on AC, is your battery >= 12v
Connections - check you haven't disturbed other wires/connectors when fitting the replacement thermistor.
If the problem continues it's likely a fault on one of the circuit boards. Suggest you take to a service agent as it looks like it's beyond DIY
