I saw GC open for mxpx in late 2000 or early 2001 (which seems like just before this was filmed...they'd already changed drummers). Thanks so much for posting this - I know a lot of people don't like their new stuff but watching them grow from a point that they were wandering around the line outside and literally no one cared (and ignored them) to see where they are now, I feel nothing but happiness for them.
Two great songs I love them both
they used to rock sooooo much, now they should listen to their song lifesyles of the rich and famous!!!! I MISS THE OLD THEM!!!
I was raised in Drake ct in Waldorf.... Now representing WV much love
I love how raspy Benji's lead vocals were back then.... This the GC I LOVE!!! They grew up, like most pop-punk bands, should follow in their footsteps... "Youth Authority" was the GC album I was waiting for since "The Chronicles of Life and Death", the last GREAT POP PUNK album. It was dark and almost negative, but their songs were always positive, to spite the negative nature of the songs.
Been a fan since i saw Hold On on MTV. Seen them live 2 times. You listened to the newest album Generation Rx? Its my favourite of all time.
they were totally rocking it. :)
used to have this cd, wish I could find it. Awesome band
I wish their lives could be as cool as this again
joel would be a good screamer:D:D:D pretty good scream at the beggining
I was there for most of this song. Parking was horrible.
OMG THEY WERE BABIES!!!!
Lol, I laughed when Joel said, "Put your hands up, If you've got hands!" XD
Loving GC in 2019!
legendary jump in the end....
I love when Benji sings
My teeenage ❤

@taraluvspenguins yeah I saw them in july or something and they played like 2 or 3 songs from their first album
You just said everything's gunna be alright is the first song... then you say you never said that everything will be okay...😕
Do they still play some of there old stuff Live???? For anyone who has seen them live recently.
perty cool
the better times
i was there!
i LOVE joel xD
sad to say.. theres no more palying PUNK ryt now.. only the FUCKING POP!!!!!
I agree thier 1st album was modern punk. But as there second one came out as a new band they didn't have alot of control. As the band has said many time that back then they had alot of angst and anger and as they grew up they didn't so they weren't going to force songs that were untrue to them. And they also have said plenty of times they would love to do more albums like thier fisrt and second it just has to come natural and be true. Loved them back then still love them now.
Wasnt Sum 41 there too?
@monkguy i miss them too :(
when was this recorded? its awesome
@RFrey26 you said it brotha
OMG joel was so hot back then he was thin and cute..im not saying he's not hot now but.... i also missed their old music

I didn’t realise Benji sang more of motivation proclaimation than Joel lol 😂
Madden twins
the good ol days. when at&t wasn't cingular ahah
this song (and album) made me believe in modern punk, and then the rest of there music came out and proved it was all a lie by som pop-alternative mo-fo's. big f--kin let down
who doesnt know the words to motivation proclamation
1 person don't know what's great music.
yeah but they performed with saliva
gc use to be soo punk tour with REAL bands such as mxpx. what a bunch of washed up sell outs they are now
I'm proud to say Waldorf is my hometown
