Seems interesting. Hopefully it's viable without the extra gimmicks of having to use jade protocols or mount skills. That extra stuff is great and all but for me, any build that is only viable after a certain set up every single time you log in or start a fight, isn't worth it. Maybe if the Jade Protocols gave you 2 hours of buff with one click it might be worth it, but only if it persists between deaths. Although even then it's dumb. An additional step to make builds work by clicking on a thing is bad gameplay. To Anet: either give us the stats permanently or better, remove protocols and reduce the stats of all mobs so it's like we have the jade buff.
If you pay attention, the footage in the background shows me soloing stuff both with and without protocols and with or without cavalier relic. So yes, it's definitely viable and not required to use either :) And I wouldn't like them to nerf Open World mobs at all. If anything, the introduction of jade protocols was a mistake and poorly implemented anyway. In my opinion, they should e.g. introduce relics that allow you to fill the gaps in a particular build, like the relic of the chronomancer does for builds that miss quickness, but have well skills they can use.
Hey Masel, thank you for the work, seems like massive contribution :). I do have question: how much worse it would be to use celestial gear instead of rabid? I'm asking, because on some open world/pvp group activity I would like to contribute with some healing and boons with one gear. But if the dmg would be compromised a lot, I've rather not. Being medicore in every field is not my intention. Cheers!
It wouldn't be worse at all! If you have celestial, it's a great set for open world for condition builds. The compromise on damage is low, so go for it if you have to anyway. The reason why I don't recommend it as default is that it is rather expensive/higher effort to get if you don't want to do wvw. Stat-wise, it is absolutely great!
That seems like a golem setup issue. Did you put boons on yourself and conditions on the golem? You should have 25 might, fury, quickness, alacrity and 25 vulnerability at the very least.
@@MaselMMO i forgot to put vulnerability on the golem, now it is 25k, still not the most damaging build though. And yeah, I have all boons + food&utility
@@YourHip2374 If you look up Legendary Weapons on the GW2 wiki it will show you. That's usually how people get legendary skins - from their legendary weapons. So more or less you might find yourself needing to make a legendary weapon.
The damage surely isnt minimal compared to the specs/professions you mentioned. If that's the impression you get, then I suppose you're not using it right...
A wiki link too? Earned yourself a sub. Thanks for the vid and written guide. Definitely going to look into your other gw2 content.
Great Video! I'm running cele armor+Viper weaps and acc, very fun build 🎉

Gave it a try and honestly I cannot reach more than 21k on golem, idk what i am doing wrong

How your bow projectile looks like rainbow? is it because of the skin or what?
It could be a legendary weapon (skin)
@@mintb3868 so you mean the weapon should be legendary? Or only the skin?

It is a Dreamer shortbow
I made this build for myself and it's terrible. The damage is just minimal when compared with virtuoso conf or elementalist.

Youre absolutely using it poorly if you think elementalists or vurtuoso can even touch it.
