I traveled during Apr last year. March should be fine as the summer just begins during this month

Hey.. Guide me how to reach banglore to chilkamalugur (buses timings)
There are frequent buses from bangalore to chikmagalur. But they mostly leave in the night and drop you around 5:00 am or so in the morning. You can check the timings on redbus.com

Try visiting during winters. Winters are best followed by monsoons

It starts raining around this time in Chikmagaluru. So it will be good to visit now. Whole hill station will be covered in greenery

Did not miss it. We deliberately skipped it since we were on a budget trip.
Is july- August good time to visit?
Yes. It’s usually very beautiful during monsoon. But traveling in a car/cab would be recommended to avoid getting drenched
