I never seen no ish like that in my life! I've been cutting for 27 years, and what this guy is doing... with the ACCURACY of looking like a really decent cut BEFORE the detail work, is unheard of! I'm subscribing!

I was wondering if you've ever seen MC barber and his technique of using a straight razor to cut the length of hair instead of a scissor. I heard he learned it from a mentor when he was training for some world championship in barbering. Would love to know if you've done some cuts with the technique.

Chris I'm the Boss who commented on your Floyd vid(check it out if you didn't). I'm up there with you guys if know what mean without saying. I have simplified haircutting and it's only two moves. I can train a guy or a woman who have never held a clipper in their hands in one week what it took a baber who have been cutting for 10 year's to learn. I'm not by know mean bragging because I've learned a lot from you and the other barbers I listed in your Floyd vid. With my system you can cut any type and I do mean any type of hair with just two moves. Here's a list of haircuts that you can cut with only two moves.
1. Bald Fades(Low, Medium and High).
2. Temple and Back Taper.
3. Pompadour
4. Undercut (man bun)
5. Comb over
6. Flat top
7. You get the picture.
8. All tn just two moves.
9. Boss Out.

Yes 25 $ cut all day just like that and there are people who would be very happy with this cut and of course we know it can take 10- 15 minutes for quality and all around great haircuts but will our clients think we are rushing their hair cut when it took a lot of time and experience to getting the haircut done faster while looking good so I use this to my advantage and put down the fade fast and then refine taking my time and then they will feel better like I took my time with them and once you’re laying down 15 minutes for haircuts than it’s expected all the time so I’ll keep it at 25-30mintes cause I was taught that way and I’m timing all my haircuts and the time writing everything down ❤it

I don't get why people cut hair fast as a flex. Even if you can do a really good job most clients are gonna feel rushed. For example if someone is used to pay 40 for a 45 minute service they don't want to get rushed out in 20 minutes for the same price
Thats fresh...I started cutting when I was 13 at a time when haircuts were $5 but I started cutting my 2 brothers hair then built my clientele all my lil homies from my neighborhood...started cutting my own hair using 3 mirrors been doing it for years..I ain't had a barber since...only need a hairdresser for my dreads for a twist...you can't catch me paying $20 for a fade when I have the knowledge and experience to do it myself on another note I have to pay for the maintenance of my dreads cuz I don't know shit about that..but respect the man doing what he love to do,I never applied my self to get a license was always a side hustle for me..my career was welding,manufacturing battery tanks,stock tanks,heater vessel tanks for the oil field 15 years strong..

Hey Chris, quick question. I am new and interested in cutting and I’ve been watching your vids for a while now. I cut my roommates hair at college and I was wondering about the end detailing. You seem to stress this the most. For example say the bottom guide line is is still visible even tho I hit it with the clippers closed. How do I take that out ? When I make my bald line for tapers I can never get that first guideline to disappear with my clippers all the way closed. Any tips would be very much appreciated!
Use your trimmers instead of your Clippers to take out the bottom line
