@TAUJH You don't necessarily need an elite quarterback to win a Superbowl just one that doesn't turn it over especially if you have an elite defense. Russell averaged 210 pass yards per game when we won the Superbowl 26 touchdowns and 10 picks. Good #'s but not great. The most important thing is building a defense that can consistently hold teams to 20 pts or less then the quarterback won't press things and turn it over. Geno can do it but not throwing it 40 plus times a game against elite defenses. We need to be able to run the ball like we did last week.

Dude literally, like every time a sports analyst mentions us they always have to bring up that geno isn't a good qb. Like Colin on the herd he always says he loves the talent but also mentions that he doesn't think geno can do anything with them.
I wouldn't say "no QB" is putting up great numbers with a bottom 5 O-line, especially if you're a Seattle fan. Seattle's last starting QB played behind a pass blocking O-line that had an average ranking of 24th throughout his career there. In 2017 Wilson led the NFL in TD passes behind the 29th ranked pass blocking line. Geno isn't even on pace to throw 20 TD's this year and is close to leading the league in INT's, he's also been horrendous in the redzone the last 2 years, last year he had the worst redzone completion percentage at 43%, this year before the last game he was at roughly 47%. Both last year and this year Geno has been a whopping 21% less accurate in the redzone. I'll admit he has been better the last couple of games in the redzone, and he's putting up a lot of yards in-between 20's, but when a QB has a top 3 WR corp, there is absolutely no excuse to throw less than 20 TD's.
He can absolutely take the Seahawks all the way,it's a team game and far lesser Q.B.'s have succeeded, with a good run game,passing game and Defence it's possible.

These last four games are a super bowl contender type schedule, we have the opportunity to prove we're a championship team, by going 3-1. That would put us firmly in the third seed, meaning we get one home game (potentially three depending on how the other playoffs shape up). 2-2 gets us in, but 3-1 gives us a realistic shot at being a super bowl playing team this year.
