I was here 10 years ago and just watching this brings back fond memories. It's the kind of place where if you like a bit of history along with peace & quiet, you'll probably love it. And there was coach trips to go on but my favourite was taking boat trips simply because it's beautiful out at sea seeing along the coastline. I purposely went here because I know I love my peace and quiet away from nightclubs and the whole party scene. I also liked seeing the waterfall in this video and having a walk down by the river. I remember visiting a Turkish bazaar as well which was an experience - you have to be able to say 'no' as they will try to sell you their grandma if you're not careful. I'd really consider going back here as there was a few places in this video I missed or didn't know about. Yep, well worth visiting and kind of off the beaten track as well!

Followed you for a while and watched this video before going to Side in October 2021, I'm only noticing now I stayed in the same apartments Kentia! We had the room just to right of the one you talking on the balcony. Thanks for all the tips and videos, literally did every site you had talked about. Heading back at the end of April 2022 (Covid permitting) to explore more of the area.

@@mickandtrudie You make positive comments in both your videos and comments. It is respectable to smile to everyone, to make good wishes, to ask for good things for everyone. I hope Mick Amca clones himself one day.

It seems that Aspendos is only a museum now. In 2004 we had the occation to witness one of the most remarkable performances of Carl Orff´s Opera Carmina Burana with more than 150 artists.

@@mickandtrudie loved the video..there are many ruins outside of Side that holidaygoers are unaware of like you mentioned. Just wanna say that since watching your Fethiye films I've been to alot of the places you filmed in the surrounding areas ie Dalyan, Sakklikent, Kabak etc and loved them all. I've even started to learn Turkish from yourself😀 I've been visiting Fethiye and Side every summer for the last 20 years and can remember seeing you once in Calis when I was a bit younger with a friend. Keep up the good work with the videos. All the best👍
