    Love your energy and everything you mentioned about why you use this setup.
    I use the same approach and I can’t see liking anything else better.
    Moss collars, cylinder vases, drainage inside the vessel, upsizing without disturbing the roots in any season- yes 🙌 🙌

      Exactly!! It always works so well for anyone who gives it a try!

    Educational but oh so entertaining. You are fun! I'd love to attend a Sat'day night repot party with Jake. I like the preserved moss and the curly willow wood you added. It gives it some panache!

      Love that response, though being red as a child is better than being orange as an adult. If you know you get it.

    • @plantgayforlife
      @plantgayforlife  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Curling willow sticks! I get them from the flower district but you might be able to find them locally or online

    What did you mean by be careful when using perlite as the base layer at 6:07?

    • @plantgayforlife
      @plantgayforlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Be careful about the fine dust that goes in the air when you open the bag. If you breath it in it can make you cough and cause discomfort. Best to wear a mask when using perlite if possible.

    Great video, ive just found you but now im hooked , lol, btw i think the red mightce gone away on the stems due to a decrease in light levels depending on if it was previously grown in them so if you want it to cone back maybe you could try eventually transitioning it to brighter light.

    • @plantgayforlife
      @plantgayforlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! It’s under a pretty generous grow light so I think it’s a metamorphosis thing, especially since aroids are notorious for having red colorations when juvenile and lose them in maturity.

    Lol the ending took me out. That laugh!!! Thats anthurium is massive! What typebof humidity is in your space?

    • @plantgayforlife
      @plantgayforlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He’s a crazy!😜 my humidity is currently 35% and will get even lower as we get into winter. In summer it tops out at around 55%

    • @plantgayforlife
      @plantgayforlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hahaha! It’s repetitive at this point and I think that amount of aeration in low humidity does more harm than good
